This product worked great for about 9 months, After that it began "shutting off" before the water is really hot enough for tea, but the switch will stay in the on position, causing the kettle to try again, over and over until manually shut off

It's supposed to continue heating until it reaches boiling point (100C or 212F), now it stops boiling at 75 degrees C / 167 F.

n’t miss the lack of a keep warm function that you can get for an extra ten bucks or so from less reputable brands

n’t have to worry about the cord
