Totally work the price and way better than the off-brand

Put to good use to keep my 2 year old out of the fridge

Very strong and durable- Keeps little hands out of the toilet- Can be used on cabinets, too

They are sturdy and does not break or come off from the surface (3M Adhesive is used in the lock).I am happy with the purchase and would recommend others to buy.

We have since taken it off which was easy (use oil to get any residue off)

These are, by far, the best childproof locks we've use.

I like how I can unlatch either side and put it back on, very good design.

We used these on the apparently very interesting toilet lit to keep my curious toddler safe, as well as on one set of cabinet doors that contained glass items

They kept my young kids out of medicine, cleaning supplies and any cabinet we needed to lock up

My 15 month old managed to break the latch in less than 24 hours

These are THE BEST child proof latches for both cupboards AND drawers and everything that opens basically

I really wanted these to work because they were perfect for what I needed and they were perfectly priced but they are poor quality

Poor quality.

I feel this product would be great if the adhesive side had better quality stickiness.

We applied it twice but after a while it loses its adhesive.

The adhesive is strong and it's pretty easy to lock and unlock when needed.

Adhesive has popped off once since install, but no issues since day one

With one good jerk from my two year old, this ripped off the door along with some paint

TWICE knocked the freezer door open in the middle of the night.

The only unusual thing is the seller only lets me buy 2 at a time and recently limited my account

Now instead of opening the trash he shoves it over and drags the enormous thing around the house but at least the trash stays in and important documents stay out

I had my young Nephews over and they were not able to pry the thing open

So nice that it opens both sides and opening the lock is intuitive and easy (even for grandma with arthritis), but still confounds the kids (even our take-things-apart-to-see-how-they-work toddler)

I couldn’t create a tight close because of the hard plastic

Here is the tip, use a hair drier and heat the adhesive for a few minutes - then use a plastic putty knife to pry the hard plastic off the adhesive

Very easy to install and works as it should , my grandson can no longer open our fridge .

I especially liked the design of the ball and socket type lock because it would require breaking the plastic or ripping off the adhesive to come undone

The first time the clear plastic that holds the two pieces came out when my 2 year old daughter attempted to open the fridge

Then the sliding glass door handle became loose so I used one as a lower handle for the kids to have an easier time opening it (used both stickies on the door about 4 inches apart so it arched for easy holding.

Since my son loves to sit in the fridge, and help himself to the food inside, we have now fixed the fridge 3 times, till before I had purchased these latches.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the ones we recently received get jammed all the time and are squeaky

I actually saw them at my parents house first and knew I had to have them after my toddler made a mess of the fridge several times in a very short span of time
