Like Symphony of the Night, Muramasa is an amazing marriage of fluid 2D gameplay, beautiful graphics, wonderful music, and effective storytelling

The first thing anyone is going to tell you about this game is that the graphics are absolutely gorgeous.

This game fun initially and its graphics that favor art style are great to those who find that appealing however its constant repetitive action gets dull shortly after, and because of that in my opinion would also make replaying chapters or the entire game again less of an optimistic approach

Muramasa is a great action game and one of the few games of its genre in existence.

Very fun game, controls are good and looks beautiful on the Vita's screen (played on an OLED Vita)I'm roughly half way through it (almost done with Ninja, maybe halfway through Pandemonium), my only real complaint is that it is a bit too easy (playing on Chaos difficulty).Decent amount of depth in the combat system, though you mostly just want to use the strongest swords you have access to

My only complaint then was the controls

It has slightly enhanced graphics over the Wii version, excellent (customizeable) controls, and it looks amazing on my Vita's screen

Personally, I really liked Muramasa Rebirth, but I found Dragon's Crown had more to it (plus Dragon's Crown has decent multiplayer and slightly better controls)

For those who have this game for the Wii, there really isn't much of a difference between the 2 except that the controls are different (and a little easier actually)

Online reviews also complain about the repetitive combat, again not an issue for me

The combat is simple and easy to grasp, but deep enough to engage you as you grow in skill

The game moves in an incredibly fluid manner, which allows the combat to be more precise than some other games I've played of similar genre

There is a significant amount of backtracking that some may find tedious but if you enjoy the combat like me you won't even notice a thing

Combat is fast and frenetic as it's always been, and I've not noticed so much as a single frame drop in the 25 some odd hours I've been playing

This is not a bad thing though as you might guess initially, and Demonblade is more about the journey rather than a story

Never played this game on the Nintendo platform but heard great things about it

I was surprised because I don't found any option to change the language, so leaving the original voices that are in Japanese is a good thing, because many times, dubbing this kind of games cause that lose it's essence, and the game itself is awesome
