this would definitly be a 5 star if it stated in the description of the product that it requires other things to use it like a 48v phantom power supply and an assortment of other things the regular person might not have but the quality is great

I would not use it in a location with a high level of background noise as it is omni-directional and picks up quite a lot of extra noise.
