It doesn't make my vocals sound better (it's not magic), and I'm still learning how to use it properly, but I'm very happy with this microphone, especially for the price.

Insanely crisp sound while singing, and playing other instruments
-
You MUST align the mic properly to get the right sound
-
I use it for tracking vocals, both male and female, and love the sound.
-
The mic sounded "thin" with vocals and it really didn't like the thump of a nearby upright bass... resulting in a low frequency hum that I finally was able to eq out... to the disadvantage of the vocals
-

I'm not an audio expert, but so far the sound quality out of this mic sounds very excellent to me.

Great microphone with great sound

These microphones were made for the studio, I used it for live performance, you better have a good PA System to enjoy the sound, there everything that the video showed, it's a great microphone period

Enjoyable sound quality
-
It's a great mic, sounds awesome, SOLID construction, nice hard carrying case...had a vocalist use it the next day and commented on how much she loved the sound, especially compared with the more expensive mic she had used the day before.

Mines came with a nice carrying case and the sound is perfect

My review is comparing this mic to other mics, FOR PODCASTING (don't know the first thing about music recording).Audio Technica ATR2100 - This mic is less expensive than the MXL 770 and in my opinion gives a SIGNIFICANTLY clearer sound.

The sound is clear and warm (with good bass) for the
