MXL Mics Condenser Microphone, Midnight (MXL990MIDNIGHT)

    • It's a good microphone and it does need Phantom Power to get in use, but that's no big deal.
    • The best sounding microphone I've ever used so far
    • This is still a very nice microphone for the cost.
    • This microphone is quite good
    • This microphone is the best
    • this microphone is really good
    • This is such a great microphone
    • Both microphones work well for acoustic guitars, vocals or anything else you need it for
    • Record professional Vocals & Instrument with an Elegant, Robust and Realist microphone.
    • I'm all ready planning for my next microphone: SHURE SM7B Vocal Dynamic Microphone, it's a hell of a chunk of money, but hey, it's one of the holy grail industry standard mics out
    • It contains the normal characteristics of an inexpensive condenser microphone (i.e. bright high-end, however that is nothing that can not be controlled with the use of an equalizer)
    • On the low setting, the microphone would in my opinion be muddy but on the high setting, I can hear a mouse wetting cotton in the next room.
    • microphone sounds nice although the shock mount arrived
    • , this is a nice microphone
    • Love this microphone and the sound quality is amazing
    • This microphone does a pretty decent job at capturing a variety of sources, its quite surprising for a condenser mic at this price.
    • Very good microphone
    • If you're looking for a good microphone that won't cost too much money this is definitely a good choice
    • AMAZING Microphone
    • I love this microphone its amazing and the sound is just realy great good bang for the buck
    • If you are looking to buy a usable condenser microphone, set your budget at $150 or more.
    • This microphone is simply the best for anyone looking to get started with audio recording
    • The MXL 990 Condenser Microphone with Shockmount is an amazing microphone because it is CHEAP, and sounds very clear
    • If you care a lot about the quality of the vocals, or if you need to record loud sounds, I would recommend saving up for a better microphone.
    • I suggest you look at a decent Dynamic microphone.
    • This microphone is really great,MY wife uses it with her imac and the sound quality could not be
    • The MXL 990 is a great microphone
    • The microphone is great.
    • Best microphone ive ever used
    • Great microphone
    • i have had this microphone for almost 3 years now, and it still works well.
    • Overall a decent microphone for the price
    • Phantom power in my audio interface makes this a very sensitive, accurate microphone.
    • This microphone is fine for recording guitar and soft vocals.
    • I love this microphone very sturdy and sounds great.
    • Professional microphone and the price is really good for the quality we are receiving
    • I love this microphone very sturdy and sounds great.
    • this is a great microphone for the price.
    • Back to the review, I heard rumors that this microphone sounds muddy, and that was a major concern as I felt that I needed a microphone that would accentuate the ruggedness of my voice
    • It's a grate microphone condenser in relation with priceI recomend it
    • If you have a little $200 amp or recording to a portable digital device then really this microphone will be good for many years to come as long as you make sure you take care of it.
    • By the way, I route it through an M audio fast track pro (with phantom power).
    • the only problem is that it doesn't have an on/off switch, but I record off of Adobe Audition 3.0, and if you chose to buy the same items I bought, I can promise it will work... but so far I have upgraded from that mixer and interface to an M-Audio Fast Track, I haven't tested it out yet but something else to add on to that, if you have an cheap xlr cable, you might want a more expensive one, look for a more durable one, any questions on how to setup all this up contact me at: [email protected] out my videos from youtube channel
    • Just like with any condenser mike it's a good idea to invest in a decent pop filter if you don't want those annoying popping P's in your recordings
