I wasn't getting cramping hands when holding the ds like some others, but this just makes it more comfortable
The hand grip makes my New 3DS XL Galaxy Style easier to grip and use during long gaming sessions, but the product I received, the power button is blocked, forcing me to remove the New 3DS XL from the hand grip to power it off or on

Like some other users mentioned this case worked great for a few months of light to normal use and eventually a small piece broke off and now the DS slides out from the front

it's a good size, feels really sturdy, and makes my 3ds far more comfortable for my giant hands c:i DID have one problem, however: while the handgrip uses a large plastic strip along the top of the console to hold it in place, there's only a teeny-tiny plastic tab holding the bottom part of the console (it's below the d-pad)
It puts all the right junk in all the right places
With this device, all the buttons and controls seem to be In just the right place.
Could never find a comfortable place for my hands to be

The tab that holds the console in place broke shortly after i bought it even though i was being as gentle as possible.
Snap/broke the tiny tabs that hold the DS to the grip and now it will not stay on the DS.
The grip does not come off easily, and the tabs which hold it in place are very easy to break
unfortunately when my 3ds, in the handgrip, happened to fall off my bedside table, that little plastic tab broke off immediately
Snaps on, and off without any issue, but be careful removing the 3DS as you could very easily rip the tab which hold the unit in place off without noticing
