It looked and felt like a better quality product than any other remote I’ve owned

I really wanted to love this product and ditch Logitech for good

Very high quality and looks like what you would expect for $400 - The sheer amount of devices NEEO can control is amazing - The hardware itself is extremely high quality and feels like a premium product - Pretty easy to setup and add all my devices

The "Favorite Channel" is a sweet function, easy to set up, and the logos are displayed on the touch screen

You can even set up your favorite channels, like "AMC" or "ABC" and it'll have the amc or abc icon on the screen, so no need to remember channels either

: This is the main thing of why i gave the 5 stars, because their customer support is great and would always reply within 24 hours and not only that but also as one time i requested logos to my favorite channels as it was not provided in their system and within 48 hours they notified me that the logos are now live within the system

Didn't have the codes for 2 of my televisions and only supports rudimentary control of them such as up/down volume and channel and storing of favorite channels.

Being able to set up favorite channels with the Channel icons showing on the touch screen is also a big plus!

I have been searching for a universal remote/smart home hub for years now with little success.

This is essential for any smart home device to ensure it continues to get better in the future.

To wrap this up, I don’t think ill be buying another universal/smart home remote for a while.

Luddite who just wants a reliable way to turn your TV on and off, or a smart home junkie looking for the holy grail of DIY home control, you should seriously consider NEEO.

The only thing the Harmony has on it currently are some of the out of the box integrations with other smart home platforms

NEEO simply has the best IR blaster I've ever seen and the smartest design.

NEEO is great in that it can be incredibly simple to operate, but also allows for very complex setups

It looks a lot better than the Harmony, it is more responsive, the interface is better, it has better device support, and the setup is better

Their setup is not intuitive in the least

You will need to have the actual make and model of the Tv, AVR etc handy as this will make the setup go much smoother

The screen is beautiful and rivals my iPhone in clarity and pixel density.

Relative to remotes I have used in the past the screen has no lag and provides a user experience that is quite enjoyable.

This remote has a gorgeous screen, but that's where it ends.

Dedicated play, pause, rewind, fast-forward hard buttons would be helpful

but I would like to see improvements made on the hardware itself, including being able to reprogram the hard buttons

I think Neeo has just the right balance between hard buttons and a touch screen

If the button was important enough for the manufacturer to include on their remote, why doesn’t NEEO find it a good idea to include on the App?In conclusion, the NEEO is about as cranky as the less than half the price Harmony Remote.

The lack of Play/Pause/Rew/FFWD hard buttons combined with the minuscule text on the few hard buttons that it does have PLUS the fact that it's not a backlit remote are the reasons why.
