This adjustable laptop table offered a disappointing first impression

I was very excited to have ordered the Avantree Adjustable Laptop Table

but my laptop gets hot and i do not like the positioning i have to keep doing to keep it right

Really nice for having my laptop in bed and big enough to use my mouse too.

so I wouldn't put my laptop on it all day to work on

The height and tilt adjustments allow for comfortable laptop use.

Makes working on a laptop so much easier

but I was expecting a more solid, quality build which could be used for the full array of activities one would want to use a laptop table for (like holding a laptop at a comfortable angle)

Table rotated just as easily in the locked position as in the unlocked position and is so lightweight that a large laptop makes it top-heavy and unstable

I have a 17" Acer Predator (extremely large & bulky laptop) and this desk still has just enough space for a mouse to be used

It fell off the bed and broke my laptop

I love how large it is, I can sit my laptop in tablet mode and use my wireless keyboard and mouse, and enough space for a small notepad and coffee.

so I could have used my laptop cooler, but I just attached stick-on plastic bumpers to the bottom of the laptop to elevate it more

I love having my laptop up near my face when I'm working!Only thing I would say is I wish the no-slip mouse catch was a little higher up on the table, but that's a personal preference and a bit nit-picky

Using your left hand on the mouse means you have to go over the big bump and the laptop has to hang slightly diagonally from the large to small bump and might fall off that lower right corner

Not a deal breaker since I'm only using it to support my laptop and other small projects I'm working on, but I would be careful having it at max extension with any thing heavy on it

The plastic snap-in lip that holds a laptop or book is rather shallow but the holes allow you to add your own dowels and create a thicker and stronger support if you like, and it's also handy to be able to remove it use the solid surface without it.

Cons: flat surface with no venting (laptop overheats quickly,) laptop area is completely to the left and cannot be adjusted (bumpers for laptop and mouse are different heights.)This item is excellent as a table but a bit awkward as a laptop desk for our use.
