Neewer is a great product but this item right here is ok for anyone who wants to do a simple podcast or basic recording

but it turns out that the cord that you plug into your computers isn't compatible with laptops that have only 1 headphone jack it will consider the mic to be headphone input, but that doesn't make this product terrible jsut get a XLR to USB cable and your problem is soved.
