Keep in mind this is a lower-end cardioid (i'd recommend perhaps trying a good hypercardioid microphone if you want to completely eliminate speaker feedback, or background noise

It pops and hisses and great amount, picks up a ton of background noise, and requires high levels when recording

I took a few minutes to configure the mics volume and gain to remove the background noise and only show my voice

so I can tune out the background noise or pick up stuff from a long ways away

I do recommend additional software as the mic is quite powerful and it does pickup quite a bit of background noise (tv, typing, other voices, etc) but with the right free software, you're able to eliminate that greatly all while enhancing your voice in the process.
