The stand it came with was "fine" but in the way of my keyboard, etc... the arm I bought to attach to the desk was great, but the mount was wrong.

For the price, its a great mount, albeit it is very small and I would like it better if it had a larger diameter to better accommodate my Samson C010, which just barely fits into the mount.

I have not been able to locate an inexpensive shock mount to fit the AT's, and this was worth a try, given the extremely reasonable price.

Materials are not as beefy as more expensive shock mounts, but it's definitely enough for a study if it doesn't get banged around.

so i just keep it on; this doesn't affect the quality of the mount but if you need to take your mic out of the holster a lot, this might not be the best shock-mount to get
