Long story short, turned out to be several darts jammed in one barrel.

Takes a little while to refill after shooting and they do have a dart jam up

This is not a dart jamming, it is something wrong with the mechanism.

But now it collects dust and every once in a great while I will try to fire it, and it is dart jam after dart jam

My son begged for this gun for Christmas, and as cool as it is, it has proved to be a little disappointing for him.

Great but very heavy as it takes 6 large batteries.
