The extender did not work i.e. it still managed a bare 8 Mbps which was not very far off from what I was getting directly from the router

The Netgear EX3700 was very easy to install and configure to my existing router and strategically placed in my home for additional/boosted coverage in my home however it lags quite a bit.. for the most part the extender is in direct line of my router however still lags
