My tri level house was having trouble getting a WiFi signal to my garage door.

The WiFi signal is strong throughout our three story house now

The WiFi signal in the entire house has been greatly improved.

however, even that task becomes monotonous and it drove me to just go in the areas where the wifi signal is strongest

but the wifi signal was weak in the bedroom

The WiFi signal is unreliable, we use this for our outdoor patio TV to watch sporting events and movies, and we cannot run more than that off of it

After a few months of use, my WiFi signal became weak again

Once we installed this the wifi signal on the third floor is perfect

N300, lost WiFi signal after 3 weeks and never gained back

My WiFi signal sucked to begin with so can’t say this was too much as fault

A good solution for houses where you cannot locate your router in the best spot for reception; WiFi signal is rather like an umbrella and spreads out from the router point

We upgraded cable internet service (from 100 to "up to 250" Mbps) and only need about 15-20 upload/download bandwidth to get uninterrupted HD streaming video, yet I was still getting lousy wifi signal from the new router in the two-family-home apartment living room to my nearby bedroom through 2-3 sets of walls/corners (gasping at 1.5-3 Mbps and dropping intermittently during peak volume times like 6 and 10 and 11 pm, etc.) where I occasionally work from home and often stream music and video and browse multiple tabs

I purchased this extender because my wifi signal was unusable upstairs in my home.

Easy setup works great for filling in the gap’s for WiFi in our home

Likes;-Improved my wifi speed immensely accross my house (via ethernet)-Works well with a 5Ghz and 2Ghz wireless connection-great design-easy to set up and maintain-LED’s to tell you if it connected properly or notDislikes;-occasionally my connection drops severely

2G never worked。5G no signal

So i put it in 5g mode only which improved things

Only gave this a 4 and not a 5 as i missed that it was not a 5g compatible extender, other than that, super easy to use and get installed!

Worked ok but has problems hanging onto 5g

Setting up seperate SSIDs for 2.4g and 5g was very useful for connecting ip devices (like security cameras) that only work with 2.4g.

The Netgear device was linked on 2g, but would not link to the faster 5g channel

It was super easy to set up and install and the WiFi signal is as strong as if the router was there

The installation process went smooth as you have a step by step guide to help you out

Internet worked much faster, nothing was losing connection and everything worked as it should

Had issues with connectivity for the front of the house, as well as for my front door Ring camera and doorbell, so set up the Netgear extender and once installed the connecitcwity was significantly better, especially for the Ring doorbell

It's not difficult to reset just annoying an l have to check connectivity at least 5 min before starting work.
