$11 / month adds up to $132/year, so the savvy thing is to buy a solid 1000mbps unit for $169, break even after 15 months, and be saving money after that

Had this peace of crap for 4 months worked fine then just flat out died what a waist of money my last modem lasted 5 years so dissatisfied!

When it worked it worked fine.. easy to install... only lasted 6 months then it died

I don't expect products to last forever, but less than two months is ridiculous.

I called support , but since I was right outside the "90 day phone support" window the rep refused to help me unless I subscribe to at a minimum a 6 month support agreement for $120, even though my product was still under warranty

Started experiencing issues ~14 months into the purchase.

NO ONE should pay the ridiculous $10 a month these cable companies try to charge you for their cable modems

A month after one-year warranty expired, CM1000 unit stopped working and was replaced by Comcast.

I suspect most positive reviewers wrote their reviews in these first few good months

Less than a month after purchase the device completely died

I bought this product in October 2017 and after four months it just stopped working (the four months is important, we'll get to that in a second)

It will take approximately 8 months to break even.

(works fine on my cheap T-Mobile hotspot).

n’t had issues with fluctuating signal, and I believe this is our magic fix
