    • I reset this router every single day hoping to correct connectivity issues
    • It definitely worked well for the first 6 months, but for the last 2-3 months I have had ongoing connectivity issues
    • This time when I called the Xfinity phone number, one of the options was "connectivity issues", which I picked
    • I love that this device lets me use 5GHz and 2.4GHz networks, so I can connect devices to 5GHz and reduce the connectivity issues that come up from 2.4GHz interference (such as microwaves)
    • But from the get-go, we had constant connectivity issues.
    • I occasionally would just lose internet connection or port forward settings would be ignored and certain apps would have connectivity issues.
    • However, I started having connectivity issues soon after where the signal would drop every couple of days and the modem would take up to admit it to reset itself.
    • Began with periodic connectivity issues, eventually ended up disconnecting every 15 minutes
    • I had Motorola Arris Surfboard SB6540 Wireless Modem but had so much internet connectivity issues over last few years that I considered switching to ATT Fiber just to get reliable connections
    • Besides the connectivity issue it was NEVER able to achieve 1GB download speed, only ~600mbs with CAT7 Ethernet hooked directly to this modem
    • Changes to the Orbi setup fixed the connectivity issue.
    • But I can already tell it's working faster than what I had before, and I have no more connectivity issues!
    • I had to restart it to fix internet connectivity issues
    • The one we went and bought from Best Buy (exact same modem) works just fine, with no connectivity issues
    • Easy to set up and haven’t had any connectivity issues after the first couple months of using.

    • The rented device was still showing up on my account and that is why my tv’s stopped working
    • I WOULD NOT BUY THIS MODEM AGAIN, AND WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND AGAINST ITS PURCHASE.It’s always difficult to say if a device providing poor connectivity is due to the vendor (e.g. Cox, Mediacom, etc.) or the hardware
    • We use ours with the Orbi router and it’s very nice being able to turn kids WiFi’s on and off or use the timers and parental controls.
    • The first ID’s on the box were different than on the modem and didn’t work!
    • The next weekend all my TV’s stopped working because they needed to be re-activated
    • They checked the model number and we came to realize that this model only supports UP TO 300 mb/s!!
