    • so I was faced with either buying a modem and paying for a triple play that had voice i couldn't utilize. or pay 250 dollars for an arris that had emta but was based off the highly controversial intel puma6 chipset which has been documented as having flaws and being unstable.

    • The CM600 does NOT have the problematic Intel Puma 6 chipset that "is" in the CM700 and many of the DOCSIS 3.1 modems
    • (The other is the Arris T25, which has the defective Intel Puma 6 chipset.)
    • It also is based off a broadcom chipset and is not susceptible to the issues people are reporting on devices that have been based off the faulty intel puma 6 chipset like the arris 6190.
    • I want to avoid Arris/Motorola cable-VOIP-only modems, which is what I need, due to the prevalence of the defective Intel Puma 6 chip in many of those devices
    • No intel puma chip like those in CM700,CM1000.
    • There are lawsuits pending for several of their modems with defective intel puma chipsets add this one to that list
    • t has issues but this one couldn't solve the issue as well
    • n’t disappoint either
    • DPC3941T did!So far so good!
    • n’t had any problems at all.
