This router worked well for about 10 months and then it started periodically dropping the signal

The router was easy to setup and we are able to monitor easily via the genie app

For the record the modem has done this for both my old wireless N router as well as my new Asus router

CM700 modem works well and familiar GUI similar to Netgear routers via browser.

Great wireless router with great reliability

It works well, but placing the WiFi router at one end of the house (where the cable enters) isn't as effective as the separate WiFi router that had been placed in the center of the house

I returned this item and purchased a modem router combo which is the Netgear N600, which works well and is easy to set up.

Be aware, my router would need to be reset everyday since signals would drop on its own everyday, It's great when it's working properly but reset everyday is really annoying.

I have come to expect that good-quality routers with voice - especially those recommended as alternatives to their own by XFINITY are well made for those of us who need such a device

To turn their router off in the modem you had to turn on Bridge Mode, but that would disable all but one ethernet ports in the modem, and I needed more than one ethernet port active to connect to other devices

This router is great when you want to add only one router or one device using only one (port #1) at a time

Time will tell how good this router is, but works so far.

If you want gigabit speeds on more than one device, you will also need a gigabit capable router behind this modem as multiple devices CANNOT be attached to it directly

I made that mistake, but a router and modem is worth it if you need wifi or have multiple devices
