It was time to improve our home network, and since we had great performance from our NETGEAR Wireless N Router 2000, and because we wish to have excess network capacity to grow into, we chose the above-mentioned unit with its fast speeds, NU-MINO capability, and support for our legacy devices
This Router has other good features like Alexa compatibility, Link Aggregation, great Parental Control but without the most basic features in a consistent performance level, the advance features have no use.
The device was simple to setup and has great coverage and performance.
I do feel that the UI is a big downgrade from the Asus router but performance is much more important in my house

Moving from a dual band to a tri-band router has been the best experience ever and the nighthawk makes it so easy

I've added a wired Netgear AP (EX7000) plus a few other devices via LAN and wifi and have not experienced the 2.4g band dropped data connection issue at all

So after getting my connection up first thing I did was my normal Lan tab set static IP's for my IP cameras, port forwarded my server for remote access
It has all of the advanced settings that I needed like static IP addresses and port forwarding.
Setup was rather easy for nearly everything (WiFi, IPV6, Port Forwarding, Static IP Addresses) and I was fully setup the way I wanted 30 mins after first bootup.
They requested MANY hard resets which of course lost everything from port forwarding to VPN to MAC mapping for static IP addresses
Traffic meter does not work, qos is broken, static ip address max out at 7
