No problem with rich brew setting

Well, once I got my perfect brew, I gave away the old (perfectly fine) machine

I have had many coffee makers with glass carafes for the most part, but the taste of the Rich Brew of this coffee maker is incredible!

just received but the first brew was great!!!

I use a dark roast Sumatra coffee and the "rich brew" setting.

The classic Brew button is our daily and that was the first button that doesn't work after 6 months

This baby makes great tasting coffee and I like the options for "Regular Brew", "Strong Brew", "Cold" and "Espresso-style"

Using full pot on the dial.. we used Rich brew button and that only lasted 3 more months

so I use the "Rich Brew" feature.

The only issue is the stream release while brewing

but my thermometer only got up to 190 degrees from the fresh brew

The rich brew is heaven in a cup

It's more acidic than a cold brew or my aeropress, but it is certainly less acidic than a traditional coffee maker

The coffee is very hot when first brewed and will stay warm for up to 4 hours in the carafe

AND I even tried cold brew coffee (you make a big carafe of coffee "concentrate" ahead of time, put it in the fridge, and then just add water to the concentrate when you want a cup of coffee), so that it WOULD be ready when I wanted it, but I just didn't like the flavor

The other members of my household all agree -- and we're drinking *way* more coffee than we used to because of it.-I love the specialty brew

My Keurig, with refillable pods, made a much richer and better tasting brew

A fast, steamy brew that stays hot for several hours - nearly 4 hours is as long as I've let a pot stand and have it maintain heat enough to call hot

and I've found that six "full pot" scoops (12 regular ones) on the "rich brew" work well for me, and brews in about five minutes

We do brew on the 'Rich Brew' mode just fyi.2

You can make a regular sized cup, travel mug, half pot, or a full pot....regular strength or 'rich brew'....or you can do cups of a near espresso coffee that is absolutely wonderful.

The problem is the travel mug setting brews 18oz of coffee!

I was SHOCKED to find out when I brewed the "rich" brew (one of the options it offers") that it actually WAS rich!

The brew also seems gentle enough not to burn the coffee
