I've used this ninja almost daily since it arrived and it is a very good quality blender.

The very first time I turned it on the damn thing just about fell off of the counter

This thing jams it works really good and so fast, it will get a lot of use.

The plastic that the pitcher is made from seems very brittle

Large, plastic, strong blades, supposed to hold up well, and it's Ninja

The black plastic portion of the handle deforms and pulls away from the clear plastic pitcher and no longer fits in the lid.

A few weeks after purchasing the blender, the lid got "stuck"/the release button did not work.

First I had to replace the pitcher because my daughter didn't know how to release the lid and broke one of the little grabber pieces off, mostly human error, whatever

However, the construction can be awkward to handle and the lid is sometimes hard to lock in place.

The manual said the lid is top rack dishwasher safe, which now we are doubtful about..

This blender was intimidating at first with how the lid is secured and the multiple blades it has
