It uses a locking mechanism that consists of a small flimsy plastic pin that clicks into the motor

The black plastic portion of the handle deforms and pulls away from the clear plastic pitcher and no longer fits in the lid.

Don't expect to use it with cold or hot liquids, it will crack your pitcher that is made out of cheap plastic

The plastic that the pitcher is made from seems very brittle

Jug feels like brittle plastic.
