Reviews around gaming (4.33 of 5)

  • Been using it daily, best first purchase of a portable gaming console since gameboy color!
  • If you want apps on your portable gaming system, Vita all the way
  • Had I updated this sooner, I would have recommended buying before the price cut because of the games that were going to be released for you, but for those who didn't, enjoy the Fire Red (I must admit, I'm a tad jealous!!)HAPPY GAMING!
  • Portable gaming by nintendo has been way behind the other systems entirely
  • This is good for people who do not enjoy 3D movies as they will still be able to play games on this system

Reviews around system (4.33 of 5)

  • and I recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap portable system, especially if you haven't had a DS before
  • This is a great gaming system, and the effect of 3D is quite amazing.
  • The 3DS has revolutionized this already-great system and is a great addition to your gaming systems.1
  • I didn't think it would be worth the price tag, but I didn't expect a lousy system either
  • There are parental controls for the system to help parents limit much

Reviews around mario (4.32 of 5)

  • She absolutely loves the player, and has been using it with Super Mario in 3D Land
  • Other great games include Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf
  • The D-Pad is a tad loose feeling, and not as wide and stiff as the DS Phat's was
  • Games like StarFox 64 and Super Mario Land are coming out, but I have no interest in either.
  • Paper mario 3D- Super mario 3D- Mario Kart 3D- Kid Icarus:

Reviews around condition (4.19 of 5)

  • Received in a really bad condition... couldnt get much support
  • This product is in a very well condition and it runs exceptionally
  • It is in good condition but did not come with the display.
  • Arrived quickly and I am more than happy with the great condition it is in
  • I got the new Nintendo 3DS when it came out on launch day, the cover(top)of the unit is like a sparkling jewel, the battery lasts a about half a day, the internet service won't be out till later in a updated download, the unit also is/can be prone to a system freeze up and the display will show either black or white scren, anything you are/were playing will be lost except any previously saves, the unit weighs twice as much as a DSi XL model, the 3-d screen is ok, it does look more dimentional, but on a little screen, some things about 3-d do get lost, but the nice part is that it has a slider that can ajust the 3-D effect or just turn it off all together, I would recomend getting a warranty with this DSi version, just in case

Reviews around color (4.16 of 5)

  • When I first received this ds in the mail, I really admired the color because it sparkles
  • The sound system is better than I expected for a handheld--it's like a Super Nintendo on surround sound! This is going to sound strange, but I am so pleased that the metallic colors do NOT hide dirt
  • The aqua blue color on this is really pretty, its a turquoise color, and has a really pretty, and reflective surface
  • Aqua Blue is her favorite color so this was perfect to order
  • After much shopping for the right color and the best price I finally found what I was looking for.

Reviews around console (4.07 of 5)

  • I got a refund for the horrible headache-generating console, but I get to try to sell the games.
  • After just 3 weeks of owning the console, keeping it in a case and treating it with the care that a new, expensive console would deserve, the system broke on me
  • nintendo didn't innovate enough with this generation of portable console
  • Since then it has turned out to be the best gaming console ever

Reviews around 3ds (4.03 of 5)

  • The only thing I don't like is the location of the mic, other then that, I love the 3DS.
  • Love the 3ds and the color is as vibrant as shows on screen
  • The 3DS feels less flimsy than the DS-lite, and the touch screen is much more sensitive
  • It seems that a lot of people love the new 3DS but it just wasn't for me
  • Overall I love my 3DS and I am so glad that I received one of them

Reviews around feature (3.90 of 5)

  • However, if you can see the 3d well, it is a very nice feature to have.
  • This is a cool feature in and of itself, but even cooler than that, there
  • Now why in the world would such an important feature being missing
  • Not to mention you get some cool video game video demos at times~Nintendo Video: This feature is almost useless to me as they don't update often at all (weeks at a time) and it's usually updated with just one video
  • Unfortunately, it is also the hardest feature to market

Reviews around nintendo (3.79 of 5)

  • I love nintendo, I had the first nintendo system when I was a
  • Now, everywhere the new Nintendo 3DS has been getting complaints about "eye strain" and all that stuff
  • If you are a fan of portable gaming or Nintendo, consider purchasing the 3DS
  • After Nintendo of United States finally realizes the mistake they made by downgrading the handheld and hopefully they will improve the 3D graphics like the one that was shown at the E3 convention
  • i love handheld gaming and nintendo knows how to do that.

Reviews around 3d effect (3.78 of 5)

  • It's brilliantly designed, and the 3D effect is amazing
  • also, the 3d effect is very uncomfortable to experience
  • Talking about the 3d effect:The 3d effect is similar to when HD first came out: The 3d effect hurt my eyes after 30-40 minutes of use for the first two-three days.
  • The 3D effect is not like the world of the game is coming out, but that you are coming in
  • Having played various games for a few months now, I've really enjoyed the 3d effect.

Reviews around product (3.76 of 5)

  • I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a Nintendo
  • but I did expect a little bit more from Nintendo but anyways other than those few things it is a great product very submersive into gameplay and the 3D is awesome
  • Overall, it's the best Nintendo product I have ever bought and plan on buying several games for it in the future.
  • Product was scratched and so far the buttons work but time will tell.
  • This one however is truly the most revolutionary Nintendo product I have had in years

Reviews around thing (3.51 of 5)

  • The only thing was that my 3DS came with an adapter, but it didn't work, so I need to take it back soon
  • It is actually one of my favorite things about the 3ds.
  • So many cool things about 3DS out of the box, no games required
  • , then immediately return to your game without losing a thing
  • At first I thought it was one of the coolest things ever, the screen is bright, and the 3D is amazing

Reviews around screen (3.49 of 5)

  • The 3d effect of the top screen definitely exceeded my expectations.
  • Once I get my hands on the htc 3d evo, the screen will disappoint me to no end.
  • Bottom screen has numerous scratches that are easily visible during gameplay, as well as scratches on the outside
  • 3d slider; Control the 3d settings with this little slider thingy on the right of the top screen
  • Then the upper screen broke and wouldn't show full colors

Reviews around interest (1.80 of 5)

  • The sad thing is, I have an incredibly long attention span so losing interest in a game that is of high quality is very rare for me, and it happened with three of the best reviewed launch titles
  • Thanks i'm very happy fast shipping, well I just wanted to saw what to expect from amazon
  • I thought this was a problem with my particular unit, but the one in the store wasn't much better (even taking into account the ambient noise).I'm really not interested in bashing Nintendo, despite how this review may appear.
  • I got this system along with the games Ghost Recon and Ocarina of Time, then later Pilotwings, and enjoyed it for awhile, but now it has lost all interest in

Reviews around eye (1.76 of 5)

  • I had no problem adjusting my eyes to the new 3D feature
  • First, while Rayman 3D looked great in 2d, when I had the 3D effect turned on, I couldn't seem to clear my eyes.
  • It is great, but over-exposing to the 3d graphics hurts the eyes, thank goodness it can be turned off
