Nintendo Joy-Con Charging Grip - 2024 report by Whydis
Nintendo Joy-Con Charging Grip
Combine the left and right Joy-Con into one larger controller with this handy grip. It also lets you keep playing while you're charging your Joy-Con, so you don't have to miss a minute.
If you have spare joy cons, this is a great option to create more "complete
But, if you are only dropping some money on the Switch and don't want to deal with the hefty price of the pro controller, this is your best option and it works well.
Like others, assuming that it was a nice wireless option to play while charging your joy cons.
Even if you have 2 sets of Joy-cons, I could argue that the charging station would be a better option, as it can charge 4 controllers instead of 2.

A while ago now (way back when I first bought my Nintendo Switch console) I also purchased this fine item, the Nintendo Switch - Joy-Con Charging Grip (by Nintendo).I must say that I'm very happy with it.
Love this item...since you can plug in and charge the joy-con while playing
I watched videos on YouTube and this is clearly not the correct item
The item is really easy to use and I can even charge the controllers while I am using them to play games.
I’m not sure if they just shipped me the wrong item in the correct box
I highly recommend this controller if you like the feel of a gamepad over the nunchuck style.
This accessory allows you to charge your controllers like every first party wireless controller with a USB wire
Great controller/charger for any extra joycons you might have.
For the price, I am glad I did not buy the 4 Joy Con charging dock because this allows me to continue to play while charging and gives me an additional controller as well.
It's nice and it isn't as RIDICULOUSLY expensive as the Pro Controller

I picked up an extra set of Joy-Cons for my Nintendo Switch and was about to go the route of the Joy-Con charging station until I came across this product.
Nicer feel than the stock Joy-Con Grip, and I've only played long enough on the TV to need to charge the Joy-Cons twice so far
I can unplug the cable from the grip itself and use the controller just fine wirelessly until the Joy Cons need charging again, so you do NOT have to stay plugged in while playing, even though the cord is more than ample to allow
I don't have to worry about my Joy-Cons dying anymore, on the rare chance that they do, I don't, I always have it plugged in with the USB-C cable installed so it lasts 24/7
You're likely going to want another grip to slide your Joy-Cons into, may as well be able to charge it as well.
