This was a much wanted gift for my grandson, he likes this xl version very much
Everything came as advertised.....great condition and working fine so far :) love the colourThe pre-installed game is great, uses both t pad and joy stick which was a bonus lol really glad they threw it in with the edition....great for nostalgic playing.
Perfect gift for my 9 years old who loves to play Nintendo.

Also, regarding the lack of a charger cable, I have four words for any prospective buyers, as well as those complaining mightily about not having said cable:Read.
My daughter loves it and I enjoy being able to play Mario every once in awhile as well ;) bonus!

I never had a Nintendo growing up, and I've always heard Super Mario World is a great game, so this bundle made sense for us.
You have a great game pre-loaded on the unit--and if you transfer your old 3DS data on to this machine, you can always redownload Super Mario Land for free on the Nintendo eShop.
I purposely picked the 2 I purchased based on the notes and neither system had notes regarding damage or scratches.
An excellent handheld system with a vast library of great games!

The color looks absolutely amazing and the system itself is not as bulky as some people claim
While I do wish that people would really buy this great video game system, more than the tablets, it still is worth getting at the end of the day, with so much for the money
My boys, 10 and 8, loved the color and the devices overall.
Overall, this device looks more adult than the old 3DS XLs, more like a $200 device and not a toy
Keep that in mind if you have a congested 2.4 network like I do, since all of that bandwidth is now split up between even more devices.- No power-user options, and a lack of social features that I'm used to on playstation and PC (such as chat parties and easy ways to find friends)Excellent device
I would highly recommend this device if you like Nintendo titles and are at all interested in getting a handheld console
I'm just glad that I decided to charge before Christmas Eve because I would have been in big trouble had the device not worked on Christmas Day.
The design is great, I really like the color, that's why I bought this one, however the screen is REALLY BAD, it has a TN display that is really really pixelated, my old 3DS which is the red one, the first model has a better screen, way better
Would have liked for both screens to be ips, however only the top screen is ips while the lower/touch screen is TN
So I had it for a few years) almost a year ago, and for some reason the screen made a "pop" noise and I could never get it to work again
I noticed the screen to be a little less stable than my old 3ds XL (that one was stolen sadly
He loves the bigger screen and the green color really pops
Gameplay and 3D are as expected from Nintendo, excellent
I couldn't imagine opening this gift on Christmas morning and not being able to play it as Nintendo managed a way to pry more money away from consumers by not including the cord

This edition also has a lot to celebrate, as it marks the silver anniversary of Super Mario World from the classic Super Nintendo system, and the silver celebration of Yoshi, as it highlights within his skin with a soulful green system, and the classic game from Nintendo's online store
I'm pretty surprised that Nintendo didn't do more here to beautify the interface, but whatever
I do have one gripe: the box does NOT include the proprietary charger!
Any portable game system that has a proprietary charger requirement and doesn't ship with one is simply ridiculous.

It clearly states that on the box so I had no trouble buying a charger for it
Just don't forget to buy a charger as well, as it's not included.
