So, bottom line, if you want a cheap system and some money after to buy a few games, the Nintendo 2DS is your choice for gaming on the go.

With the new price drop, I think everyone should consider it because it is a great system and the library of ds and 3ds

However, if you're the parent of a child who isn't old enough to use the 3DS' stereoscopic visual effect, a monetarily challenged gamer who wants to enjoy the incredible 3DS library, or someone who'd like a cheaper secondary 3DS-type system, then the 2DS is certainly a worthy investment

This is not terrible but could be better because portable console should have a long play time due to their nature

right when you pick this up and hold it in your hands, giving you got about 6" long (from tip of middle finger to top of wrist) and about 3" wide (with all fingers close together)the console seems like it just falls right where its suppose to go with no effort of getting it adjusted and ready to play

If she didn't have the 3DS, I'm sure this would be her "go to" portable console.

The console doesn’t feel uncomfortable in your hands even in the slightest

So now the console is collecting dust, and I will have to either replace the motherboard or get a new one — not from this seller, of course.

It was great as it had a wide range of cheap and fun games

So at the moment I can't play games like Shin Megami Tensei IV, though I suspect that they'll release it in Europe eventually

And love being able to use old DS games as well as new 3DS games.

The games are fun, but not if you have no system to play them on

When I play Pokémon, whether I'm using the stylus or not the game never becomes hard to control

The 2ds seems a lot harder and a lot better design in my opinion

Everyone has a preference, but for me, I like the 2DS best

The 2DS like the 3DS is backwards compatible, meaning any DS and DSi games that you enjoyed or have can be played on the 2DS

It is also a bonus that the 2ds is compatible with all DS games.

When I received this 2ds I thought it would have been in a little bit worse condition, but there were no scratches and it plays amazing

But still, they said it was in good condition before I placed the order,

This product arrived in good condition, works well , have not had any issues

It came in good condition, however the L button doesn't work well and there's times in which it disconnects from playing with another 2DS

The anti-aliasing on the games is terrible and extremely noticeable and the device feels extremely cheap

This is a great gaming device and honestly really fun to play with

After looking it up so much, I think it is an affordable gaming device that works just as well as a 3DS.

With the new Nintendo 2DS price drop the 2DS is the go to portable device to get now

The price is great for 130, you can barely find good quality used 3ds units at that price

I love handhelds and have had every itteration of the Game Boy Nintendo has ever made

Once they actually played on it though they were amazed it fits so well in big and little hands making it one of the most comfortable handhelds I've ever used

On the one hand, this design makes the handheld really tough and a lot harder to break, which is great for kids

This is the best handheld I ever played and it also has a 4 gigabits loved it :-D

I got this for my youngest son after breaking TWO 3DS hinges

Comfortable to hold in a way that reminded me of the old Gameboy Colour, robust with no hinges to shatter, capable of playing my DS library, at a reasonable price AND, best of all, I could play without pain and vomiting

I don't miss the 3D at all, and in fact, the screen seems brighter than any 3DS I've used, at highest brightness

Honestly, even for the fact that it folds in half and offers a little more drop protection (for kids especially), I would spend the extra $40 or $50 bucks on the 3DS, turn off the 3D and have more piece of mind.... and all my games worked fine in the new one.

The only thing I could say is that the packaging in which it arrived was a bit odd, but the console itself is perfect.
