The magnet ruined my bank cards

Eventually I put some thin steel sheeting inside her wallet to protect the cards (was paper thin), and no more problems

It will wipe the magnetic strip on a credit card clean of its operative info and cause varying degrees of damage to the other items listed

Also, it demagnetizes hotel keys, luckily it never hurt my credit cards.

While the magnet wont affect the phone, I didn't want to risk the cards

It's great at holding the phone, but putting a magnet directly on the phone WILL destroy your credit cards AND will prevent NFC functionality.

Works great but beware of the magnet ... don't put a credit card next to it (I ruined a card by placing it in my pocket with the phone; keep cards and phone in different pockets).

The phone attachment is very bulky and has an incredibly strong magnet that can break credit cards, and the dash attachment totally detached after a couple of weeks.

Is there a wallet or credit card case designed to protect credit cards from magnets?

The strong magnets in the Steelie mount on the back of the phone will erase your credit/debit cards if they come close to the magnet.

The only issue I've run into is that it does erase the key card I use to get into the hotel I work at

The only thing I would add is a little rubber pad on the part that touches the back of the phone but it still works as it should with the way it is

We’ve tested both and mine doesn’t magnetize the things nearly as well as his
