    • I so wanted to give this a good review, I have purchased one of these before and love it but the orange rubber on this one is much stiffer than my old one and therefore the phone doesn't seat to the ball very well and falls off and doesn't hold a position.
    • I just removed the magnet from my phone protective case and reinstalling it using 3M VHB 92284 Tape RP16
    • The small disk that mounts on the back of my phone case does not interfere with putting my phone in the belt holster
    • Holds phone well and not bulky
    • Stuck my phone to a metal plate with magnet
    • Love this but when the heat is on, the phone can get warm.
    • If you try to mount it on a vertical smooth plastic surface it will not support a phone like the gs7 edge
    • The phone wobbles and spins every bump and even on normal turns while driving
    • its fantastic and everything you could want in a vent mounted phone mount!*I do not work for nite-ize, i am just a very satisfied customer!
    • It's the greatest phone holder.
    • But otherwise a quality phone holder much better than a vent one.
    • Well-made, super easy to use, and unobtrusive in your field of view while, unlike clunky plastic phone holders.
    • And put my phone in there as well
    • works good but the magnet will eventually mess up your phone
    • I could never think typing with my thumbs is actually way easier without having to support the phone with your fingers, also when you are working on your laptop having your cell phone facing you and talking to people with one touch
    • only thing i dont like is that my phone will not lay flat any more and wobbles on the table
    • The magnet does not mess up the phone, like I thought it would

    • I will add a video soon to show how great this simple, inexpensive little phone holder is.
    • Best phone mount for your
    • Steelie mount is my favorite way to secure the cell phone in the vehicle.

    • Now my phone ALWAYS tilts in a 360 or just falls off all the time
    • Perfect for keeping your phone handy, especially when you use phones for your business.
    • Holds my phone well, lost a star because the silver ball fell off of my dash within a week of getting it
    • The phone also falls when hitting bumps etc.
    • and it's hands down the best phone mount I've ever used
    • Since the magnet is attached to the phone, I can attach my phone to other metal surfaces like the fridge or a file cabinet at work, safe and out of the way, but still handy
    • It's great at holding the phone, but putting a magnet directly on the phone WILL destroy your credit cards AND will prevent NFC functionality.
    • i was amused by the magnet on the back of the phone, as i could stick my phone to anything it would stick to ( fridge, bathroom stall, forks, keys) trust me its so much fun to mess with a magnet on your
    • Second is the magnet part that goes on the back of the phone, with the little red rubber pad, I use it quite often in my car, driving to work, or long trips, and about close to a year of use the red pad in the middle is starting to give, and not keep the phone held in place, hitting a bump now jolts the phone down
    • Also, because the magnet is on the back of my phone, I hang my phone on my refrigerator so I can find it when I'm working in the kitchen.
    • This is one of the better phone holders on the market
    • Phone would fall off and go onto the car floor.
    • I purchased both the tablet version and the smart phone version
    • my phone is not as stable as i want it to be.
    • I can put my phone anywhere like when I am working on my truck.
    • best phone holder everStill unsure it magnet will effect credit cards when wife throws phone into purse with wallet loaded with credit cards
    • Vent ball mount was heavy that would tilt the vent down and the phone as well most of the time
    • Perfect for keeping the phone and all of its apps usable on the go.
    • I would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a phone mount that likes to pick their phone up while they’re driving to take calls or whatever.
    • Does not hold phone up falls down immediately
    • Best phone holder I have ever used.
    • The ball is small and is best mounted on the very edge of the dashboard, so your phone can hang off the edge, especially if you have a larger phone like an iPhone 6S or a Samsung Galaxy
    • This also causes my phone to block an air vent and become inconveniently close to my radio buttons
    • Also, when you put you phone on the steelie while it is still holding onto the dash the phone slowly falls and is soon pointed at the ground
    • At the first sign of heat in the car (driving on a sunny day in Northern Virginia with the AC on) the ball lost its adhesion and the phone (along with the ball) fell of the dash.
    • she had one in her Subaru WRX, couldn't shake her phone loose no matter how hard she tried
    • I was amazed at how well it held her large phone
    • The Steelie is so much easier and secure to mount in your car, and the phone is much more secure when attached to the Steelie, with a better range of movement.
    • but, my phone spins and twists and turns constantly all by itself while I am driving
    • and I can hang my phone on metal over-head cabinet in office.
    • My phone falls off of the dash when I go over a bump
    • Works in all weather and you can hang your phone on anything metal wherever you go
    • My phone is a little heavy and it vibrates down but doesn't even think off falling off!!
    • If I hit a bump, my phone falls off
    • If you have a case on your smart-phone, be advised that the side grab-pads of the mount will barely secure the phone
    • The phone itself is hard to work with with the piece you put on the back.
    • This is the best phone holder for your vehicle ever
    • Good quality but eventually the magnet that gets attached on the phone will get weak and the phone begins to sag.
    • Holds the phone really well, durable, and easy to use.
    • I lost my phone as soon as I hit the bump
    • The phone is overheated if the heat is on
    • At work I stick my phone to a metal filing cabinet as well, keeping the phone out of my pocket, off my desk and visible.
    • And still my phone has not shaken loose
    • It’s still a great phone mount, and I recommend it highly.
    • Neither catches in my pocket or bothers the phone.
    • and it keeps the phone secure and in a handy location.
    • Bonus, the magnet sticks your phone to anything metal, it comes in handy
    • I get in my car, and slap my phone onto the mount and it holds it there very firmly
    • n’t get air because my phone is blocking the vent
    • Phone at risk of damage; small speed bumps can sever the magnetic connection.
    • You can even stick your phone to the refrigerator or the edge of the bathroom mirror for listening to podcasts or hands-free phone calls at home
    • The magnet isn't strong enough to hold the weight of the phone in place, the phone will just slide down on the ball and rest against the dash, the slightest bump will then send the phone to the floor.
    • Phone kept creeping down during my smooth drive on the highway
    • During one bump the phone again lost the magnet
    • Keeps my phone handy when on the computer and allows me to us it for reference books while working.
    • The phone is kept cool by the vent
    • BUUUUT, if you turn the heater on, it may hurt your phone as over heat device.
    • My phone then picks up everything from bobby pins to erasing magnetised strips on credit cards and petrol purchasing cards
    • Having tried those expensive mechanical phone mounts without satisfaction, I tried the Steelie brand
    • We both removed the magnets and now our phones are both working fine
    • works great as I can use the phone for the gps and other things and it is hands free and stable.
    • That is up until about 2 weeks ago when it began having trouble holding phone upright
    • I would recommend these over any of the "window sick phone clip"
    • I can have my hands free but phone secure and safe
    • I was a little worried that my phone would come loose and drop to the floor when driving through rough terrain or bad roads
    • Any slight bump will cause the phone to shift and slump down by its own weight
    • This is the greatest phone mount ever
    • best phone holder ever
    • Just a nice way to keep the phone accessible for photos or flashlight if I didn't have my headlamp on/near
    • i was amused by the magnet on the back of the phone, as i could stick my phone to anything it would stick to ( fridge, bathroom stall, forks, keys) trust me its so much fun to mess with a magnet on your

    • Great little phone holder
    • Most useful and practical mobile phone mount for a vehicle that I have ever owned
    • Would not recommend to anyone with a smart phone
    • Not strong enough to hold today's heavier phones
    • The phone wobbles and swivels all over the place.
    • This is the best phone Holder I've ever
    • It didn't allow for me to put my phone on the power charger and using Samsung Pay, it seemed to interfere with me swiping my phone to pay for something.
    • Not sturdy, meaning phone slants Off to the sides.
    • This is the best car accessory for a phone on the market and worth the price
    • These work best on smaller smart phones, but works great with my Nexus 6p
    • It worked great and kept my phone right where it needed to be
    • I had to super glow the ball on my camaro leather dashboard and also the magnet on the phone is annoying and might hurt your phone
    • It works great, but where we put it in the little tray on the dash, the phone gets really hot in the sun.
    • It keeps my phone in place and accessible when I'm in my car
    • Only time my phone comes loose is if I hit a really bad spot in the road too hard
    • The magnet is strong enough that my phone won’t actually fall but not strong enough to hold it in place
    • The phone was not working right
    • I cleaned the phone with the wipe, afixed the magnet, and let the phone sit on the magnet for an hour
    • Steelie by Nite Ize is by far the best I've found (for me atleast) for keeping your phone secure and manageable while driving
    • Best phone holder..!!!
    • The magnet is great, as long as I am close to it, it sucks down the phone and away we go!!!
    • Best phone holder I have ever had
    • I purchased it about two weeks ago, applied the magnet to the back of my (smooth) phone case after cleaning the case with the alcohol pad, letting it dry, and letting it cure for even longer than the recommended 24 hours, and today the magnet came off when I removed the phone from the steel ball bearing in the car!
    • I typically have trouble accessing my phone for navigation because I don't like to hold my phone in my hand while driving, so this allows me to have my phone directly to the right of my steering wheel and in perfect view so I can see my navigation
    • No more lost phone under the papers on my best.
    • BECAUSE MAGNET WILL MESS UP YOUR PHONE,IT
    • I could move the phone closer to me and not have it block anything, I could also buy multiple dash mounts and use in all my vehicles, I mounted it today, per the instructions and much to my dissapointment, the phone(iphone 7 plus)falls off !!
    • This by far, the BEST phone mount I've purchased for my vehicle!
    • Not a bad concept, but this does not hold my I-phone 6+ steady.
    • My phone would gradually work its down with the road bumps
    • many months later, I'm the happiest driver in L.A.A warning to those with silicone-type cases: the monster adhesive will not adhere to these; you must attach the receptor part to a hard case or the phone itself
    • I can now slap my phone on my stove vent to show a recipe while cooking, or slap it to my desk cubical to get it out of the way while working
    • Awesome phone mount

    • With the right phone/case/car combo it probably works, but it don't work for me.

    • It may look like a sex toy but it's really a very cool phone mount.
    • Don't believe the description 100%this product does hamper normal operation of your smart phone
    • The round shape makes the phone go down and side to side, this not good for Samsung S8 due to it's a big phone.
    • Contrary to the description, this magnet is not strong enough to keep a phone steady in a vehicle

    • The only problem is that the larger phones simply don't hold well.
    • It is so easy to attach my phone to, and easy to see
    • Works great phone barely moves
    • the best phone holder ever this will not slip off your vents
    • It makes it hard for the phone to slide in and out of your pocket as well, and the phone doesn't lie flat on the table
    • If you just twist the phone to the side it works just fine.

    • The magnet somehow became too weak to hold my phone when it had worked fine the day before
    • When I hit a bump, or just the natural vibration of the car, the phone starts to sag, well not sag, but moves to the bottom, and I have to constantly adjust the thing.
    • The phone is just fine, but I try to pay attention to make sure my wallet is not in the same pocket as my cell phone, just in case.
