I Love the mount but had to remove it because all my credit card magnetic strips were destroyed.

But the final straw that made me stop using it was when it caused my credit card magnetic strip to become unreadable after the card got too close to the magnet mounted on the phone.

My phone then picks up everything from bobby pins to erasing magnetised strips on credit cards and petrol purchasing cards

Well the 3m strip wasn’t strong enough and it fell off the first day I had it

but......do not place your hotel keys, credit cards, or any other important magnetic strip near the magnet

They will ruin the magnetic strip on the card.

it erased the magnetic strip off of my gas cards.

My only concern is that I've noticed the magnetic strips on my debit cards stop working if I have them in the same pocket as my phone (which has a strong magnet on it)

Excellent product but beware magnet will disrupt the strip on credit cards

The magnet that is stuck to the phone will erase any credit card magnetic strips if you carry them in the same pocket

Be very wary though - if the magnet touches a credit card, it will destroy the magnetic strip on it.

Be careful, magnet will erase the magnetic strip on your credit /debit card!!
