Nite Ize Steelie Dash Mount Kit Plus, Black

    • I've been looking for a good phone holder for my car for quite a while now.
    • One of the best phone accessories I've ever purchased.
    • The magnet doesn't work at all, my phone will fall off with the slightest tap
    • Only time my phone comes loose is if I hit a really bad spot in the road too hard
    • This is THE BEST phone mount for the car
    • These work best on smaller smart phones, but works great with my Nexus 6p
    • most convient phone holder
    • It’s still a great phone mount, and I recommend it highly.
    • The phone is just fine, but I try to pay attention to make sure my wallet is not in the same pocket as my cell phone, just in case.
    • The magnet somehow became too weak to hold my phone when it had worked fine the day before
    • Phone is secure even on washboard dirt roads.
    • Since the magnet is attached to the phone, I can attach my phone to other metal surfaces like the fridge or a file cabinet at work, safe and out of the way, but still handy
    • The only problem is that the larger phones simply don't hold well.
    • When I hit a bump, or just the natural vibration of the car, the phone starts to sag, well not sag, but moves to the bottom, and I have to constantly adjust the thing.
    • Love this but when the heat is on, the phone can get warm.
    • Phone droops down from the slightest bumps
    • Not strong enough to hold today's heavier phones
    • I have an iPhone 6s without a cover, and the magnet cannot support the phone while plugged into a charger in landscape orientation
    • The phone wobbles and spins every bump and even on normal turns while driving
    • Magnet does not damage phone and can be removed easily with some alcohol wipes leaving no trace of application
    • My phone is a little heavy and it vibrates down but doesn't even think off falling off!!
    • This is simply the best phone mount I have ever came across
    • We both removed the magnets and now our phones are both working fine
    • Not sturdy, meaning phone slants Off to the sides.
    • Also, when you put you phone on the steelie while it is still holding onto the dash the phone slowly falls and is soon pointed at the ground
    • No matter what turn I take now my phone is SECURE
    • If you just twist the phone to the side it works just fine.
    • Best phone mount for your
    • and I can hang my phone on metal over-head cabinet in office.
    • Best phone holder..!!!
    • This by far, the BEST phone mount I've purchased for my vehicle!
    • only thing i dont like is that my phone will not lay flat any more and wobbles on the table
    • The magnet is great, as long as I am close to it, it sucks down the phone and away we go!!!
    • Magnet is not strong enough to stabilize the phone on the ball, it floats all over
    • I purchased both the tablet version and the smart phone version
    • THIS IS THE BEST PHONE MOUNT FOR A VEHICLE EVER
    • i was amused by the magnet on the back of the phone, as i could stick my phone to anything it would stick to ( fridge, bathroom stall, forks, keys) trust me its so much fun to mess with a magnet on your
    • Best phone holder I have ever had
    • she had one in her Subaru WRX, couldn't shake her phone loose no matter how hard she tried
    • I would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a phone mount that likes to pick their phone up while they’re driving to take calls or whatever.
    • The phone is kept cool by the vent
    • I just wished the design had been revised for our modern, super-heavy phones
    • The way the grip mechanism is designed, the product grips the vent very well and keeps my phone handy but out of the way.
    • I could move the phone closer to me and not have it block anything, I could also buy multiple dash mounts and use in all my vehicles, I mounted it today, per the instructions and much to my dissapointment, the phone(iphone 7 plus)falls off !!
    • Steelie by Nite Ize is by far the best I've found (for me atleast) for keeping your phone secure and manageable while driving
    • Perfect for keeping the phone and all of its apps usable on the go.
    • I usually carry my debit card in my wallet, but hastily stuck it in my front pocket a few weeks ago, and then stuffed my phone-- and the magnet-- into my pocket as well.
    • It may look like a sex toy but it's really a very cool phone mount.
    • During one bump the phone again lost the magnet
    • I could never think typing with my thumbs is actually way easier without having to support the phone with your fingers, also when you are working on your laptop having your cell phone facing you and talking to people with one touch
    • Any slight bump will cause the phone to shift and slump down by its own weight
    • The phone was not working right
    • I just removed the magnet from my phone protective case and reinstalling it using 3M VHB 92284 Tape RP16
    • It didn't allow for me to put my phone on the power charger and using Samsung Pay, it seemed to interfere with me swiping my phone to pay for something.
    • Just a nice way to keep the phone accessible for photos or flashlight if I didn't have my headlamp on/near
    • Play around with it first to make sure once it is mounted AND the phone is on it that it doesn't obstruct any buttons or displays on the dash etc.and you will love it.
    • BUUUUT, if you turn the heater on, it may hurt your phone as over heat device.
    • Phone is very stable at any angle !
    • but, my phone spins and twists and turns constantly all by itself while I am driving
    • Best phone holder I have ever used.
    • The phone hangs a bit low despite mounting the adhesive exactly to spec
    • It stays in place, but I would prefer my phone to be a little higher
    • Don't believe the description 100%this product does hamper normal operation of your smart phone
    • The phone itself is hard to work with with the piece you put on the back.
    • This is the most reliable phone Mount I've ever used, and my last one was the overpriced RAM X-grip that clicks the side buttons if you don't have your phone in "just right", fix the problem once and get the nite ize steelie.
    • I had to super glow the ball on my camaro leather dashboard and also the magnet on the phone is annoying and might hurt your phone
    • I can put my phone anywhere like when I am working on my truck.
    • The magnet isn't strong enough to hold the weight of the phone in place, the phone will just slide down on the ball and rest against the dash, the slightest bump will then send the phone to the floor.
    • My phone would gradually work its down with the road bumps
    • BECAUSE MAGNET WILL MESS UP YOUR PHONE,IT
    • I drove the car on bumpy roads, the phone did not fall or shifted
    • and it's hands down the best phone mount I've ever used
    • The package doesn't seem to have a recommended phone size/weight anywhere
    • That is up until about 2 weeks ago when it began having trouble holding phone upright
    • Now my phone ALWAYS tilts in a 360 or just falls off all the time
    • Removed the phone and the magnet ripped off
    • Best phone mount ever.
    • It worked great and kept my phone right where it needed to be
    • Phone kept creeping down during my smooth drive on the highway
    • This is a very useful tool as opposed to those hideous air vent style smart phone holders
    • It makes it hard for the phone to slide in and out of your pocket as well, and the phone doesn't lie flat on the table
    • Does not hold phone up falls down immediately
    • Holds phone well and not bulky
    • Definitely better that the phone mounts that clip on to your air conditioner vents
    • If you have a case on your smart-phone, be advised that the side grab-pads of the mount will barely secure the phone
    • This is the best phone mount I have found.
    • Overall a really great phone mount, with one minor downfall for me.
    • The steelie magnet prevents the stylus draw on feature that many smart phones have from working properly
    • Yet make certain you apply the receiver centered top to bottom as well as side to side on your phone as you may wish to turn phone horizontally as well as vertically
    • The magnet is on the telephone and erase the credit card infoAlso is very weak and the phone wable and fall down
    • i was amused by the magnet on the back of the phone, as i could stick my phone to anything it would stick to ( fridge, bathroom stall, forks, keys) trust me its so much fun to mess with a magnet on your
    • best phone holder everStill unsure it magnet will effect credit cards when wife throws phone into purse with wallet loaded with credit cards
    • Phone would fall off and go onto the car floor.
    • The phone wobbles and swivels all over the place.
    • I finish practice and realize my phone was missing, so i hop on
    • Works great in car to keep phone in full view and much safer to quickly access.
    • Keeps your phone right where you can see it.
    • My mom comes to pick me up from my car and we travel to my missing phone
    • n’t get air because my phone is blocking the vent
    • It works great, but where we put it in the little tray on the dash, the phone gets really hot in the sun.
    • Best Phone mount I've ever used
    • best phone holder ever
    • And put my phone in there as well
    • Also, because the magnet is on the back of my phone, I hang my phone on my refrigerator so I can find it when I'm working in the kitchen.
    • Awesome phone mount
    • I was amazed at how well it held her large phone
    • Holds the phone up right very well.
    • The round shape makes the phone go down and side to side, this not good for Samsung S8 due to it's a big phone.
    • The magnet is strong enough that my phone won’t actually fall but not strong enough to hold it in place
    • I can now slap my phone on my stove vent to show a recipe while cooking, or slap it to my desk cubical to get it out of the way while working
    • My phone falls off of the dash when I go over a bump
    • Vent ball mount was heavy that would tilt the vent down and the phone as well most of the time
    • Stuck my phone to a metal plate with magnet
    • the stand does a great job supporting the phone in an upright position, making it easy to use
    • but you lose the phone magnet (which interfered with the NFC on my device).
    • The Steelie is so much easier and secure to mount in your car, and the phone is much more secure when attached to the Steelie, with a better range of movement.
    • works good but the magnet will eventually mess up your phone
    • It keeps my phone in place and accessible when I'm in my car
    • You can turn the phone at whatever angle needed, useful for traveling and using phone as a gps, useful if driving and playing music you can easily see and navigate screen
    • my phone is not as stable as i want it to be.
    • works great as I can use the phone for the gps and other things and it is hands free and stable.
    • Phone twists and shifts position while normal driving.
    • Would love to know if there is anyone else who has ruined their phone by sticking a magnet to it
    • many months later, I'm the happiest driver in L.A.A warning to those with silicone-type cases: the monster adhesive will not adhere to these; you must attach the receptor part to a hard case or the phone itself
    • the best phone holder ever this will not slip off your vents
    • When I hit a bump, or just the natural vibration of the car, the phone starts to sag, well not sag, but moves to the bottom, and I have to constantly adjust the thing.
    • The best phone mount on the market
    • and it keeps the phone secure and in a handy location.
    • No more lost phone under the papers on my best.
    • Most phones don't work in landscape on the home screen, let alone some apps that don't work in landscape mode and with this it's just not a concern
    • Steelie mount is my favorite way to secure the cell phone in the vehicle.
    • Most useful and practical mobile phone mount for a vehicle that I have ever owned
    • You can even stick your phone to the refrigerator or the edge of the bathroom mirror for listening to podcasts or hands-free phone calls at home
    • He likes that he can sometimes stick his phone to metal objects (like cabinets or doors) for handsfree convenience while working.
    • Second is the magnet part that goes on the back of the phone, with the little red rubber pad, I use it quite often in my car, driving to work, or long trips, and about close to a year of use the red pad in the middle is starting to give, and not keep the phone held in place, hitting a bump now jolts the phone down
    • I so wanted to give this a good review, I have purchased one of these before and love it but the orange rubber on this one is much stiffer than my old one and therefore the phone doesn't seat to the ball very well and falls off and doesn't hold a position.
    • This is the best car accessory for a phone on the market and worth the price
    • The ball is small and is best mounted on the very edge of the dashboard, so your phone can hang off the edge, especially if you have a larger phone like an iPhone 6S or a Samsung Galaxy
    • I will add a video soon to show how great this simple, inexpensive little phone holder is.
    • It's the greatest phone holder.
    • Just to hang your phone on so its not in the cup holder
    • I can have my hands free but phone secure and safe
    • With the right phone/case/car combo it probably works, but it don't work for me.
    • My phone is on the bigger size so I would recommend putting the magnet closer to the top.
    • Holds the phone really well, durable, and easy to use.
    • This also causes my phone to block an air vent and become inconveniently close to my radio buttons
    • Holds my phone well, lost a star because the silver ball fell off of my dash within a week of getting it
    • The magnet is very strong and supports my phone.
    • Neither catches in my pocket or bothers the phone.
    • If you try to mount it on a vertical smooth plastic surface it will not support a phone like the gs7 edge
    • Perfect for keeping your phone handy, especially when you use phones for your business.
    • This is the best phone holder for your vehicle ever
    • Keeps my phone handy when on the computer and allows me to us it for reference books while working.
    • Bonus, the magnet sticks your phone to anything metal, it comes in handy
    • It is so easy to attach my phone to, and easy to see
    • Great phone holder
    • It's great at holding the phone, but putting a magnet directly on the phone WILL destroy your credit cards AND will prevent NFC functionality.
    • Great little phone holder
    • I purchased it about two weeks ago, applied the magnet to the back of my (smooth) phone case after cleaning the case with the alcohol pad, letting it dry, and letting it cure for even longer than the recommended 24 hours, and today the magnet came off when I removed the phone from the steel ball bearing in the car!
    • If I hit a bump, my phone falls off
    • Phone at risk of damage; small speed bumps can sever the magnetic connection.
    • Contrary to the description, this magnet is not strong enough to keep a phone steady in a vehicle
    • My phone then picks up everything from bobby pins to erasing magnetised strips on credit cards and petrol purchasing cards
    • Did this several times, same thing, phone refused to work even scrambled the home screen.
    • The magnet does not mess up the phone, like I thought it would
    • This is the best phone Holder I've ever
    • At the first sign of heat in the car (driving on a sunny day in Northern Virginia with the AC on) the ball lost its adhesion and the phone (along with the ball) fell of the dash.
    • I couldn't just lay the phone down and scroll, I had to hold my phone because of this weird bulky magnet glued to my phone.
    • First the phone doesn't seem to secure well enough.
    • Worry about strength for a larger smart phone
    • With some, the phone shakes, others the phone would fall out of the mounts
    • I have a larger phone and in order to keep my phone from toppling over I prefer to position the knob lower on the back.
    • when its finally in there it is squeezing it so tight i feel like it might crush my phone all together
    • The phone and the Steelie drags the vent down and prevents air flow now.
    • I get in my car, and slap my phone onto the mount and it holds it there very firmly
    • But otherwise a quality phone holder much better than a vent one.
    • when its finally in there it is squeezing it so tight i feel like it might crush my phone all together
    • The phone also falls when hitting bumps etc.
    • I would recommend these over any of the "window sick phone clip"
    • Great phone holder
    • I was a little worried that my phone would come loose and drop to the floor when driving through rough terrain or bad roads
    • Having tried those expensive mechanical phone mounts without satisfaction, I tried the Steelie brand
    • I lost my phone as soon as I hit the bump
    • Well-made, super easy to use, and unobtrusive in your field of view while, unlike clunky plastic phone holders.
    • It's great at holding the phone, but putting a magnet directly on the phone WILL destroy your credit cards AND will prevent NFC functionality.
    • I cleaned the phone with the wipe, afixed the magnet, and let the phone sit on the magnet for an hour
    • Works great phone barely moves
    • At work I stick my phone to a metal filing cabinet as well, keeping the phone out of my pocket, off my desk and visible.
    • I typically have trouble accessing my phone for navigation because I don't like to hold my phone in my hand while driving, so this allows me to have my phone directly to the right of my steering wheel and in perfect view so I can see my navigation
    • The small disk that mounts on the back of my phone case does not interfere with putting my phone in the belt holster
    • best phone holder ever
    • Good quality but eventually the magnet that gets attached on the phone will get weak and the phone begins to sag.
    • This is one of the better phone holders on the market
    • Holds my phone well, lost a star because the silver ball fell off of my dash within a week of getting it
    • Would not recommend to anyone with a smart phone
    • Any little bump in the road the phone slides down.
    • And still my phone has not shaken loose
    • Not a bad concept, but this does not hold my I-phone 6+ steady.
    • Works in all weather and you can hang your phone on anything metal wherever you go
    • This is the best phone holder I've ever had for my phone
    • The phone is overheated if the heat is on
    • This is the greatest phone mount ever
    • its fantastic and everything you could want in a vent mounted phone mount!*I do not work for nite-ize, i am just a very satisfied customer!
    • Great Phone Accessory I have owned.
    • This product was manufactured for very early smart phones like a Samsung Galaxy S II that were smaller
    • My phone just falls as soon as it’s connected to the magnetic ball
