They love to sit on it but also chew on edges so good for their beaks

I was looking for a small, solid platform perch for a disabled cockatiel (long ago broken/crippled foot).

Buy this or replace this with the coarse covered platform which my bird has contracted brumble foot from , the tiny sandpaper gets caught in their leg and feet and irritate them , you have to soak them in warm water and then oil them till well

I had bought 2 of these about 2 years ago and the screw kept falling off because the wood was so soft but glad this one was fine.

Have tried several times and determined that the entire screw, inside and out, has flaws

The screw fell out of the base the first time I tried to install it

The screws came loose and fell out the second I tried to install the wood perches

it came loose the screw started to loosen up within few weeks not worth the money do not buy this perch for heavier bird maybe good for smaller birds.

A product like a perch or toy will be chewed by parrots, and cedar is toxic.
