The Nixplay cloud service & phone app make it extremely easy to load photos--the "playlist" feature is particularly interesting and I can see using this on special occasions (Christmas, birthdays) to have the frame display special photos but then go back to our "normal" rotation after that.

As is almost customary these days, I also read several reviews from disgruntled customers complaining of poor customer support from the company

Garbage, why not provide the customer with an external android recovery sd card or something so that when they screw up a firmware update the user could easily fix their frame.

This is an excellent product, I would purchase it again.
This is a great product and the customer service is amazing.
The product has worked great and sure missed it while it wasn't working, glad it's back in operation
Nixplay (aka Creedon Technologies) is a company focused on future developments which apparently causes existing product support to suffer
Nixplay is the first company that I have dealt with that met all of the preceding criteria and in the end replaced the defective product ... without waiting for the return of the failed piece

The display screen on the bottom right side is already flickering and going bad - don't purchase this product...support is aweful and in fact this may have been returned by someone else since when I got it - it was registered to a different user and had to get that corrected as well

The Nixplay Digital Cloud Frame is great - its like watching a family slide show whenever your in the room.

I purchased the Nixplay 15 inch cloud frame based upon the awesome features that it sported in the advertisement and it seemed to be the perfect solution for keeping my mom up to date with pictures of her grandchildren.

While technically not broken I am wondering if I've received a couple rejects.
The frame is good quality and we really enjoy the picture slideshow.
Any ideas anyone has to correct I would appreciate?
Some of the documentation and terminology is a little sketchy, no doubt because of frequent upgrades to the product - is a playlist the same thing as a slideshow
Eventually it will unlock itself and go to the next picture; however that next picture will be displayed rotated incorrectly and just when you think you are done with this erratic behavior the slideshow will speed up showing pictures every 5 seconds or so as opposed to the 30 second per slide viewing setting.

I lost the power adapter while moving and reached out to NIX customer service regarding a replacement.

The frame works great excep when I lost power in last weeks storm, which messed up everything.
Also, a MAJOR hardware limitation (says the manufacturer) is that when you loose power, you must manually turn on each picture frame to resume the playlist
It's likely that we either lost power while the display was updating or the frame lost connection to the internet while the frame was updating, thereby corrupting the flash memory.

Joe stuck with me and walked me through the proper steps to do a hard reset on the frame as the instructions on the site were not accurate.
This was a network issue on our cable end; however, it effected the frame and TOM was able to walk me through the Hard-reset with ease and competence
I have had to un-pair/hard reset/re-pair the frame twice because their software update process requires it which is absolutely silly.
no long hold or anything... spoke with Jeff and he walked me through a hard reset, update of firmware, and bingo
He walked me through hard reset procedures, which resulted in software upgrade, and photos re-dowload, but the frame was finally revived (which i, honestly, did not expect to happen)

The support page, as usually, does not advertize a phone number, and suggests to send an email with a question
This company has great customer service, the phone number is right on the
Sent an eMail to support, then tried to call and could not get through (phone number no good?)
Joe walked me through the process of setting up the frame and made sure that I have a phone number to call if I get confused or have trouble with the process.
