Worked great charging my 12V motor cycle battery over the winter months.

It may not bring a car battery back from a complete drain (if that’s your need, you need a charger that can put out at least 15 amps for a reasonable charge time that can recharge just about any size car battery) but works great to maintain and even recharge a half dead battery

It's not necessary but it would be nice when I'm simultaneously charging and putting a load on the battery to get a better idea what's going on.
