a griddle with the stated dimensions, if usable, would be almost 30% larger than the actual usable surface
I believe the sliding was caused by the griddle not having its entire bottom on the cook top surface
Everything heats evenly and the surface is very easy to clean (hand wash)
Warps on glass/ceramic cooktop stoves and seriously scratches the stove top surface.
The warping can be undone after cooking and while still warm by placing the griddle on a flat, solid surface and gently flattening with a rubber mallet

Uneven heating & cooking due to warp
I'm trying to cut back on using nonstick pans given all the warnings about the chemicals used, so as a result I don't have smooth cooking for pancakes, eggs, etc
I have a glass/ceramic cook top stove and decided that I didn't want to use my cast iron griddle on it for fear of scratching the surface
Excellent design, gauge and dimensions for gas range top cooking over 2 burners
griddles.-i have trouble flipping the pancakes because the sides of this are low, so there is nothing to stop the spatula, but i do it.
use it a lot. makes perfect pancakes and clean up is a breeze.
Works perfect and would make great pancakes based on the thickness and release coating.
Easy to clean and I’ve consistently made good pancakes with it.
i think people's pans are buckling bc they are probably using medium high to high heat - and to this i ask the maker of both cast iron and this, why don't you write in humungous letters all over the ad and packaging - use low heat??proslightweight, especially compared to cast ironheats up and cooks food quicklyeasy to storefits on two gas burnerssaves a lot of time - a pan would do 2-3 pancakes at a
This tells me that, while I will gleefully use and enjoy this product for certain amount of time, I am not going to be handing it down to my kids when I die
Awful product.
This is a terrible product
Great product, but I guess it could go on top of the stove as well :-)
It seems to sit flat on the counter, so maybe it deforms a bit when heated? Also, the coating is fragile (mentioned by others)
The only drawback is that it has warped a bit and is now somewhat oblong and will not stay flat on our stove top.
Update: Dropped it from counter and the griddle not only dented quite a bit on the corner where it hit the floor, but it twisted enough that it is now warped
