The FM transmitting power is very good, I would be curious to know if the power output is the same as the KM20, that one it seemed to completely take over the FM frequency I use while the KM22 seems to leave a little (read very little) static or white noise when there is no sound at all.
-
that eliminated any noticeable static noise
-
Lots of issues with this device... most importantly I got horrible ground loop engine noise over the AUX cable
-
The only other drawback is between songs there seems to be a lot of hissing, or white noise, which is minor but frustrating, considering the noise is eliminated once music begins, and this noise was not audible on the previous model
-
There was a static noise when nothing was playing, which can happen but this device had noise even during music playback and calls.
-
Too much static noise even in AUX mode, returning this unit
-
The only thing you should know is that depending on where you're geographically located, either a high-numbered FM station or a low-numbered station will come in better - meaning you'll get less noise and hiss.
-
Plugged into the power port (AKA cigarette lighter), found a somewhat free spot o the dial, paired up the device and that was that.
-
I being the caller love that o can hear them clearly when they are driving and talking on the hands free aspect of the product and they love that they can hear me through their speakers perfectly!
-
Better yet, the static I experienced with the KM18 is completely gone
