One of the worst sounding cartridges I've ever used
For the same price you can purchase the Numark CS-1 Stylus which offers much better quality sound.
I would recommend this cartridge to audio buffs who are looking for a good price and good quality sound.
As far as sound is concerned, I'm happy with it.
Although from a brand like Numark I've learned to expect nothing less than excellent, this cartridge is very solid - producing great sound, no skips or skating, and most surprising - handles easily deep scratches on old records
I had this cartridge for a few days and it worked fine, however after less than a week I noticed the sound quality rapidly decrease only to find that the needle had become loose from the stylus to the point it became virtually unusable
I wanted a good needle that'll play my records and play them well.
Every one has experienced the dreaded moment where you accidentally knock the needle onto the rotating metal side of the plate
I forget the name of that one but this model is a great standard quality reliable needle that can with stand a beating
