Numark DJ 2 Go Ultra-Portable USB DJ Controller for Mac or PC
Product description
So you love to perform, but hate hauling a bulky DJ controller to each gig? Numark feels your pain, and has your prescription: DJ2GO. With the DJ2GO controller, you can throw your entire rig in a backpack, set up in minutes - and ...
This a great little device, it works well with Virtual DJ Lite, the software actually just mimics the DJ2Go's interface, button for button, dial for dial; so it's very intuitive.
The good: It's a sturdy device with rubber feet that fits the width of my laptop perfectly (though I'm currently running it on a desktop in my evil man cave lair).
Though the software works the same as the full version of VirtualDJ, the interface is designed to look like the controller, making it look very clunky and making it difficult to work as I normally would inside any DJ software
I left it at 5-stars because this is the most rock-solid device you can buy, IMHO.
the DJ2Go is a good device, especially for portability.
Though the software works the same as the full version of VirtualDJ, the interface is designed to look like the controller, making it look very clunky and making it difficult to work as I normally would inside any DJ software
Perfect size if you want a slick SDR controller for SDR#/HDSDR/etc...
I am not a club DJ who does a bunch of fancy mixes and remixes, so I love the simplicity and small size of this controller
It's the perfect size for laptop use, and works perfectly with Virtual DJ

The controller is well built and does not seem flimsy at all
No built in sound card: this means you'll need a USB compatible headphone (or adapter, many available here on Amazon) to properly CUE your songs while using headphones.
Again, it beats the old mouse n' click approach any day!Other Pros: super portable, compact, great build quality (it's soooo deceiving when it's in the packaging), solid controls, RUBBERIZED BUTTONS (feels like my NS7FX), headphone cue-ability (read on), master and individual track volume controls, +
the songs Live with the Creative X-Fi and the built-in audio card on my Macbook

its easy to use and install, software kind of tricky but hardware works perfect highly recomended arrives in time good price
I'm going to look into an adapter because I thought this was a great price for a backup device if my computer or VDJ mixer crashed during an event
pitch bends (though you can use the platters as well), scratch-ability (basic with the platters), and most important an affordable PRICE!!!CONS:1
If you don't like the included software or don't want to pay subscriptions or purchase the full version at a ridiculous price, then you can use this with other DJ software if you want to take the time to learn how to map it out, unless it already has it set up to choose from in a list in the software.

I did need to search the web for a DJ2Go button configuration file for MIXX program (my preferred mixing software at the time), but after I found that I was up and running.
You are forced to buy VDJ Pro Full if you want to make a the best sounding mix while using the DJ2GO.
All of the versions in between(Home, Broadcaster, Pro Basic, which range $49 - $100) give you the tools to make a great sounding mix, but you are not able to use your DJ2GO with them
So if you are accidentally on "scratch" mode and accidentally bump into one of the wheels while you are cross fading, it could mess your entire mix up, which happens.- No on board USB sound card
This little mixer is perfect for the DJ who needs something simple to give them two mixing desks to work with without all the bells and whistles they may not need.
This is a great starter tool that can help you decide if you want to invest money into real DJ equipment and begin seriously pursuing a DJing hobby or even a career
I gave this product a 4 out of 5 star review because all in all it is a well rounded starter controller just wish it would have a button for
It's a great starter controller for the money, but if you've ever DJ'ed before, once you get used to using your computer instead of CDJs, this will be collecting dust until your next trainee comes around
presets freely available, compact, faders are decent quality, price,I got this for occasional DJ gigs where I want to be able to cross fade while changing tempo for use with Traktor
The features of this product are nice but the overall quality is poor.
My computer is a little full so it lagged a
I'm just happy that I can't continue my hobby without using the touchpad! The Product:The quality of the controller is nice

Suprisingly, the jog wheels are actually better than on the Total Control IMo.
The jog wheels on mine spin freely (there were other complaints of them sticking in some of the other posts), and the buttons are standard issue Numark rubber.
- The JOG wheels are too sensible, so if you accidentally touch them, the music will
The jog wheels are insane sensitive, and they will wobble if the table wobbles at all
A few pointers - the pitch "-" and "+" buttons are mapped for looping and the jog wheels are rather slow when cuing in Mixxx
Was a little bit smaller than I expected but the software is great
If you don't like the included software or don't want to pay subscriptions or purchase the full version at a ridiculous price, then you can use this with other DJ software if you want to take the time to learn how to map it out, unless it already has it set up to choose from in a list in the software.
The board is an awesome product but the software isn't DJ friendly.
I both 2, and this device do not work! The software are you a serial number each time you open, and after you type they shut down, and send a report to the company
Without auto mix the software and unit is useless to me.
if you just need a good, basic DJ setup, you will be hard pressed to find a better value.
The screen directly mirrors the controller, so you'll be very hard pressed to mess it up.
Sync" button is a no-brainer, but when pressed with the play button simultaneously, syncs the tracks on beat if you mess it up
