• Reviews around jog wheel (3.33 of 5)

Numark DJ 2 Go Ultra-Portable USB DJ Controller for Mac or PC

    • The jog wheels are light, but solid, and very responsive.
    • A few pointers - the pitch "-" and "+" buttons are mapped for looping and the jog wheels are rather slow when cuing in Mixxx
    • The jog wheels are easy to use and don't feel flimsy.- Very portable
    • This is obviously pretty important because the jog wheels are very sensitive and the space between the fader and the jog wheel is crowded
    • - The JOG wheels are too sensible, so if you accidentally touch them, the music will
    • I like spinning platters and jog wheels not pressing buttons to get my beats matched
    • Suprisingly, the jog wheels are actually better than on the Total Control IMo.
    • The jog wheels are incredibly sensitive and because the controller is so compact it is easy to tap a jog wheel which will throw your mix out (even in Sync mode)
    • The jog wheels on mine spin freely (there were other complaints of them sticking in some of the other posts), and the buttons are standard issue Numark rubber.
    • On the downside the jog wheels are pretty annoying to use and feel pretty plasticy
    • The only cons I see is the jog wheels are not very precise, and if there is a slight pause after you "let go" of the wheel before the song resumes, but then again, I've not tweaked anything yet, it could be a configuration of Virtual DJ.There is only 1 cue button, so if you have more than one cue point, you will need to select the cue point you want in software.
    • The jog wheels are insane sensitive, and they will wobble if the table wobbles at all
