I am not a really mechanical person but have made a few repairs in my time and the few problems i encountered with this repair were not too difficult to figure out how to proceed

If you are having to replace this unit on a NuTone 765HFL, the problem is not the heater element blowing out.

After deciding to see if i could rectify the problem, i checked YouTube to see if there was a video of fixing the heater

After replacing the heating element, I tested the unit, it blow hot air.

Element only lasted two months they quit blowing hot air

The next we turn it on and no heat is coming from the fan, only cool air.

Believe if the operators manual specified to clean the entire NuTone unit at least annually, the Heating element may not have failed

When the thermal fuse blows on this unit the cause of the problem is not the fuse

Heating element is good, only thermal fuse fails most times

The thermal fuse blew on our NuTone bathroom Fan/Heater when someone left the heat on all night.

It’s not resettable and the fuse alone is difficult to replace

This is my second time having to replace this item, the overload thermal fuse burns out
