Good tone; what is funny is the drive determines volume as well, so if you turn drive down, you must turn up your volume to get a clean guitar sound
The tone and overall construction is very good, though, especially at this price
It is much more sensitive and easier to handle, the tone is good as well as more sensitive, it follows the sustain beyond where other headphone amps quit

It's a great little amp, with some real clean tone or some radical distortion
This is a nice small headphone amp with a classic rock capable clean to crunch tone
so its not the companies fault, if you want to play classic rock, like boston, doobie brothers, floyd this is for you but trying to play slayer and LOG with this isnt gonna happen.
cant get a heavy metal sound out of it, i thought classic rock was just the brand, its the sound it gives

The connection doesn't always hold great when I'm bouncing around, and there's crackling from time to time, but it was a cheap solution and has really encouraged my practice.
It may not be great for a professional but as someone learning to play guitar, I would definitely recommend this for quiet, private practice
Overall works well at reasonable price for quiet practice play
