The HD connection works as described but the RF extender only worked for a couple of days.

It worked as described, however, if you have a television with a cable box in one room and want to send thesignal to another room you'll need a HDMI splitter to operate both televisions.

This product did not have a range as advertised and wasn't as good as the previous wireless unit I had but didn't support HD boxes

The Nyrius works well with out cords for the computer to the TV

As a video transmitter and receiver, the Nyrius ARIES NAVS500 works great with no appreciable drop in picture quality.

My Xbox360 is collecting dust now, since I can play my PC games which much higher graphics quality and without having to buy an extra desktop only for my living room thanks to the NAVS500.So great product that has worked for me without a hitch, the only negative point I have to remark is that accidentally and easily broke off the hooks from one of the footstands, so I cannot use the stand anymore and have to lay the device flat

The device works fine at times but the signal gets lost occasionally.

I gave it 4 out of 5 because it is not perfect but there are SO many variables that any device that is designed to do this is almost impossible to work perfectly

It was extremely easy to install, and both the video and audio quality are great!

Our unit keeps randomly losing the signal necessitating a re-sync which is a bit of a pain.

Overall, this unit works great if you meet some requirements like the cabling speed and distance

I have the NAVS500 setup to transmit from my desktop PC to my living room TV.It works flawlessly, as good as if I had the two devices connected via a regular HDMI cable, just without the hassle and without having an ugly cable running through my apartment

Performance as expected, there is a slight lag when changing channels, but picture quality looks good.

The home+ is crystal clear and I feel as if the picture is just as good as if it were connected with a physical cable

The only thing I did not like while it was working was the picture delay while changing channels

I split the HDMI output of the cable box and used this device to transmit the signal to the remote TV.

The only issues I've had are:- sometimes it will lose the sound output

Transmitter is behind a glass door of a media center in the living room and is separated from the receiver in the bedroom by 1 double sheet rock wall and/or a solid wood door (likely not as challenging an environment as some reviewers).Transmitter gets its signal from one output of an HDMI splitter that splits the output from our X1 Xfinity cable box, with the other going to a Yamaha sound-bar

I routed a 30ft. HDMI cable to where we planned to hang our large screen TV

Or the screen splits the picture into two and revert back and forth across the screen

After 30 seconds or so however, digital garbage would creep up the screen until it covered the image entirely

When it works it's great, but the screen routinely goes completely black or the picture shakes when it's struggling to connect.

I'm not blowing up my laptop screen to fill an entire wall, mind you -- just a 24-inch class HDTV screen

If I look closely, I can see where the picture isn't quite as sharp as direct wired HD, but it is barely noticable at normal viewing distance.

Though, if your need is for 2 devices in the same room, I am sure you can come up with a wired strategy that would work 100% of the time.

I might as well have wired this connection to begin with.

Would recommend this for anyone who has a difficult hard wire situation.

Allowed tv placement in a location which would have been very difficult to hard wire, although its in the same room with transmitter and receiver maybe 8 feet apart.

The IR transmitter is a bit tricky and takes some patience

Room to room signal is a bit lost, difficult to link and has some interference.

A good concept, but I think I'll wait until the technology matures a bit.

In my case, i got video with no audio or audio that was a bit static-filed

Set it up 15 feet line-of-sight between Tx and Rx, and it would only sporadically link up for a few seconds before the link would be lost.

The picture looked perfect and stayed that way despite our constantly changing the levels of the lights in an attempt to disrupt the link

We played an entire movie and the link never failed or lost sync once

It was pointed out to me by the manufacturer that it is NOT OBSOLETE and I was provided with a proper link to the item on their site!So now, I have corrected my rating to FIVE STARS

Occasionally it may lose link between the receiver and the sender but a quick unplug and re-plug takes care of the problem

It took a few minutes for the system to boot, but when it did...there were no interference issues with any of our wireless devices.

What's nice is that both remote displays are sitting right next to each other with no interference issues (with each other) as the NAVS500 automatically finds the best WHDI radio channel for each display (NAVS500 receivers).The receivers do get pretty warm which initially concerned me but so far nothing HOT if you will.(Item reviewed for free 1 year extended warranty).

I thought perhaps it was an interference issue with my wireless router, or my home phone, or my laptop, but it didn't seem to matter where I situated the transmitter in relation to these other items
