I didn't expect to like the story or the gameplay at all but both facets impressed me

For those who bought a copy that comes with the artbook the art is absolutely lovely and has a nice variety of pictures the characters in addition to show casing the some of the foods and potions featured through out the game.

but this one is more streamlined and more accessible because with the added bonus of being able to warp to areas that you've already been in, a new Chef mechanic which makes level grinding more easier, actually gaining levels while defeating enemies not to mention the fast combat speed for all the characters including brand new moves for each of them to pull off and with the return of the pooka Village to further eat more stuff to gain even more

The game is amazingly fun, and the seller I bought the game from sent the art book from the Storybook edition for free!

Another classic from Atlus, no doubt worth it.

The updated graphics look beautiful and the game runs better with more variety and more features to the battle system for all playable characters

The voice acting and story are still as lovely as ever and no one sounds awkward or poorly voiced for both versions and there is a Japanese audio with English subtitles available for those who prefer it which is a lovely bonus as not many games offer dual audio
