It was a bit hard to assemble, because the holes did not line up when attaching the back

The chair was a bit harder to assemble than I expected, not because it's complicated, but because some of the screw holes seemed to either not line up correctly or to be bored too small for the provided screws, particularly where the arms are connected to the chair back

It is a bit on the smaller side, but for the price and ease of putting together, I highly recommend this chair

They are the typical hard plastic casters on most office chairs that scar hardwood floors, so I never took them out of the plastic bag.

The five caster wheels roll without a lot of resistance on my carpet, and none at all on a hard floor

I replaced the wheels with rubber ones to protect my hardwood floor.

After assembling the chair I realized the arm rests were only hard plastic, so I went back to my order to make sure they had sent me the right chair

If you don't keep your knees pointed perfectly straight forward, your thighs will dig into the sides of the hard plastic armrests.

This could be true if you are a master plastic manipulator and normally deal with much more challenging issues, then yes

The back is comfortable, the cushioning is adequate (but don't expect memory foam or whatever...just comfortable), and it seems to be well balanced, although sometimes it does pop if you shift too far over, which tells me maybe it could use better base hardware (I am nowhere near the weight limit)

I would give this 5 stars, but the chair was missing the gas lift dirt cover out of the box

(For the discomfort and the flimsiness, I knocked off one star.)The biggest downside, and I would not have known this until having used it for a while (going on 2.5 months), is that it squeaks, like really badly, when you lean back on the backing.

I've had it for about a couple of months now and one of the arm rest came loose and a wheel popped off.
