On Stage KS7350 Pro Heavy Duty Folding Z Keyboard Stand
Color:MultiColored
The On Stage KS7350 Stand is a muscular folding, Z-style stand. It has a mammoth 500 lb. load capacity so it will handle even the largest stage pianos, workstation DJ systems, and large mixing consoles. The KS7350 adjusts from 24...
The product itself isn't difficult to construct, it's that they packed it, and then screwed it together, in a space-saving way that makes it difficult to figure out what piece is what
This "Z" stand does not cost much more money than a heavy-duty "X" stand but is a much better product.
This product is accurately represented and amazingly easy to assemble.
The "Z" shape of the frame means I can use it sitting down (sewing table), the adjustable height makes it perfect for a buffet table.
No trouble supporting an 88-key keyboard, with easy height adjustment.
It's rock solid, and I love the fact that the height and width are independently adjustable
This stand is strong, it allows for adjustable heights, and overall it works great, comes with little rubber pieces so that you place on the top so that the keyboard won't slide.
The height is adjustable from just above my lap to tall enough to stand at the keyboard comfortably
It's on the heavier end of keyboards, so I needed a stand that could: 1) support the weight reliably; 2) be flexible enough to allow me the opportunity to sit or stand while playing; 3) be lightweight enough for ease of portability.
I'm 6' tall, 240 pounds and it supports my full weight without even as much as a wobble
There is also a discrepancy as to how much weight it will support, either 375 pounds or 500 (both numbers are claimed).
I didn't find the screw holes, though one could drill the heavy-weight steel top pieces.

I also like the Z design because I prefer to sit while playing and it allows room for my knees
This stand is of an ingenious design and you have to understand how to set it up In particular:(1
I like this design more than the traditional x design (whether single or double braced) as this design does not get in the way of my knees when I am playing, and allows more room for things such as damper pedals
That stand is a bad design and I broke a weld simply assembling it.
only 32" wide, most "X" stands could not be adjusted low enough for my needs (without also adding a shelf.)The "Z" design offers plenty of clearance for my feet and knees while seated, and the adjustment knobs are easily accessible from the front; though it's not entirely clear to me which side is really the "front".The stand top is deep enough to accommodate my Axiom 49, and leaves enough extra stand-top to add a 6" deep shelf, perhaps for a sheet music holder-gizmo and certainly a drink or too.
