This pair is slightly more expensive but it is also slightly better quality, and the cushion divider in the bag helps keeps the stands from scratching eachother up

The only downside is there's no place to secure the pins when the stands are stored in the bag, so they clatter around during transport.

The locking pins worked well enough, but like most locking pins, requires you to "thread the needle"

let me give some advise about anybody trying to cut corners on cost,dont do it,i spent $ 120 dollars on these stands and believe me it is worth every penny of it,they are sturdy and well built, made out of aluminum,which makes it light weight but built strong,eazy to adjust the mounting pole and can fit any size speaker hole by takeing the pole out and turning it on the other side of the pole,eliminateing the need to buy mounting brackets for the speakers,and the stands were shipped in good sturdy boxes,all i can say you can take a chance and buy some $ 50 dollar stands and hope they dont come scrached up or broken when they arrive at your door step,or you can just spend a little extra money and you will know you will have some good qualty stands arriveing at your door step in a good qualty box,so you want have a dent or a scratch

The carrying case is excellent, it's well padded and divided inside, and includes a shoulder strap.

And the bag is kind of nice though I typically just throw the stands in the van when going to a gig.

Each of them has had its issues: broken parts, difficult to setup, loose fitting speaker mounts (I currently use QSC K-12 and Yamaha DXR8 tops), unwieldy/heavy (I'm getting older) and pricey but not worth it, etc

Great speaker stands, and nice that they come with a heavy duty case.
