The case is very ruggedly constructed, the included storage spot for the cables is a nice touch, and the cabinet profile favoring the Optima six-pack form factor make for an attractive product
There is an internal fan that comes on when charging at higher current levels, the charger can get somewhat warm when working hard
This battery charger is awesome, it has a digital readout with the battery voltage as well as the charging amps & works very well on both AGM and old style batteries
The led lighting on the charger and cable are very well appreciated, especially after using it in the dead of night to revive a battery and get rolling again.

Only complaint ( very minor) is the led light for the connected status could be brighter
I was unaware that in the event of total discharge (like idiot me leaving my lights on for 9 hours) these batteries cannot be jump started easily.
The clamp with the little LED light is a sweet feature!
Since, purchasing my Optima Battery charger, I charged 4 red top Optima batteries, 1 yellow top Optima battery, & 3 large wet cell auto batteries
I've also used it to recover a totally dead lawn mower battery, and it did the job very well.
Nice unit and works very well with my red top optima battery.
I was able to revive two depleted optima batteries - which would usually require a direct fresh battery to dead battery transfer to get the processe started.
Works great, the battery tender option is keeping my batteries fresh
