The adapters I received had the correct plug orientation for Germany and Austria, but the casings were not round as pictured.

Highly recommended, great price and solid plugs, not the hollow ones you usually get.

Where the US plug mates to the EU plug, either they missed a rivet, or the metal bonding does not hold.

I did some shopping to find some good plug adapters to use in Germany and these have by far been the best

They allow easy plugging of most adapters (110v-220v) with either 2 or 3 prong plugs.

They fit snugly in the socket German socket, and feel solid when plugging in US plug appliances

These don't fit into the SMALL (older) EU plugs... these are for the more modern plugs.

One of my problems in the past (other than the flimsiness) had been that some of my American-style plugs were shaped in a way that they couldn't be fully plugged into the flimsy little plug from the adapter kit because it was too short.
