I was expecting a more "orangy" guitar with a different rosette, but what came is almost a carbon copy of the 1/2 size model- blond wood on top, a more colorful rosette- nice

If you ever want this option- nuts run 6 to 10 dollars, but must be measured carefully, and you can't hang the strings too far out on the frets on the sides
A string on this new one is just weird shaped, a bit lumpy actually across the soundhole, so they may not be the greatest strings, but probably good for the first set.
I beleive the strings are the culprit
Just would be more pleased with better strings .

Other than that I really enjoy playing this affordable, but beautifully made, classical guitar.
But make no mistake, this is not a great-sounding guitar
a good value guitar and the shipping and service was great
so any pressure there in shipping may cause that- not the guitar's fault, but packing or Fed-
Don't worry about 'crappy tuners' or anything else - it is $90, looks great (important to 6yr olds), and sounds great (in tune - for a cheap 3/4 guitar).
