My product came and wouldnt work or turn on... so everyone sat around with unmelted chocolate and cheese so that was a fun christmas

This is a well made product and is fine on table use with hot pad underneath.

I was concerned buying a cheaper product but found this to work very well

Nice product, the only thing temperature control not easy to use.

It is a very nice size, holds a lot of fondue and holds temp.

Basically I ended up throwing away $20 worth of cheese and having a really strange bite sized dinner.

My old one used sterno and the heat was somewhat unreliable.

Works really well, heats very fast, as long as you use this properly you will not be disappointed

First, I am used to cheap fondue pots that take forever to heat up.

Oster boiled the cheese fondue even on its lowest setting, much lower than the "Cheese" setting.

We had another Oster fondue pot for years and it worked fine

I was looking for a relatively inexpensive fondue pot for parties.

First fondue was great, but the second one didn't happen because the unit would not heat up.

Second time to use was 5/16/2020 for a different cheese fondue recipe and it worked long enough to melt cheeses, then stopped

It makes cleaning it a little tricky, however, we have loved our cheese and chocolate fondue!

Burned cheese gets too hot too quickly

I had to keep turning it off and to avoid burning the cheese and eventually the cheese wound up burning

The main thing I didn't really appreciate is that it is a "watch pot" in the aspect that if you take your eyes off of it, you'll look back moments later to find that it has not heated up at all OR that the cheese is bubbling and burning and creating a new layer of enamel that you'll have to soak for 2 days to remove.
